You are actually doing a very complicated, informative and nice job. Plus expensive to open machines. Thumb's up.

I dismounted my jigsaw like you before watching your video. The trigger wouldn't work every now and then. I found out that one of the cables between the trigger and the stator was not inserted fully. Simply pushed it in. and during the assembly the small piece of metal in T form that goes between the sluts of the foot fell off without my noticing where it came from (minute 23:49 of your video. I could have never found its location if I hadn't run across your great video. Thank you very much indeed and hats off.

I will buy it today :) 40 euros I think it's worth to spend, will be happy if it works all warranty time (2 years), more than enough for that price :D

I am from South-Africa, and got myself a second-hand one online . Going to collect it tomorrow hopefully and then I will drop my video.

I have new Bosch PST 650. But I afraid to use this machine!
Saw your video and understand, what is inside? Don't afraid anymore! Thank you!

Despite the weaknesses, this jigsaw has been running for 5 years! Interesting! That is good...

Great video. Had a couple of these and base plate rollers disintegrated. Never took it apart so found this really interesting. Nice one !

Get what you pay for , I bye old power tools some I restore and use most are over 40 years old and still going strong without nothing more than a clean up and congeniality test, quality back then and UK made! One other thing, most modern cheap tools body's have no fiberglass reinforcement or very little , best way to test is give it a scrap with a utility knife. Great breakdown!

Good! Bearings, hardened parts, good enough for diy!

Well, when i needed a jigsaw and i was looking at this model from Bosch, about 6 months ago, and since at that time i already have other green tools from Bosch that were very nice, the Bosch pbh 2500 re the Rotary Hammer and Bosch psb 500 re the Hammer Drill driver, and well in the pictures, this jigsaw looks nice but if you see it in-store, well that it's another story :), it looks a lot cheaper and not worth the 50 euro, so i bout at the similar price the Skil F0154381AA, well granted this was on sale but for a similar amount of money the build quality and the material quality it's a lot better and it has more functions in comparison with the Bosch jigsaw!

Keep some of the parts for other projects, some of the part are standard throughout lower and higher range ie fixings!
