As the father to a talented young musician, one angle that stands out for me is the sheer human effort to put on something like this, ~75 musicians spending 20 or 30 years perfecting their craft, each one of them pushed forward by parents and dedicated music teachers in their youth. You are seeing an expression of the best of culture and human creativity

Ok, these musicians are all top shelf talents. Lets' give a little love and respect to this incredible conductor, Sarah Hicks! Sarah is an American, principal conductor of the Minnesota Orchestra, gradate from Harvard Magna Cum Laud with a BA in music composition and is a highly sought after "guest conductor" as she is here. Sarah picked the music for this performance which included not only this piece but all of the Spaghetti Westerns. She then spent hours upon hours studying and dissecting the score, making notes then rehearsing the orchestra to achieve her vision of the music, then leading them to this incredible outcome! On the DNSO web site this piece alone has over 91 million views!
Sarah has worked with orchestras all over the world in both hemispheres, America to Brazil to Japan to England to Europe to "The Danish National Symphony Orchestra" just to name a few. And she is so damn young! Gifted! Impressive! People just do not realize or understand what a conductor does. More than just a human metronome, they work their ass off!

The one instrument is a ocarrina. The ocarina is an ancient wind musical instrument-a type of vessel flute. Variations exist, but a typical ocarina is an enclosed space with four to twelve finger holes and a mouthpiece that projects from the body. we had some made of wood years ago when I was at school.

That's exactly how I responded. Speechless. Saw the movie in 1968. Watched it 22,287 times.
    OK maybe not that many.
