@@jemarwilliams9609 when is the last time the lions had a roster people outside of Michigan thought would win the superbowl? They don't do anything the same!
In spite of an injury riddled season last season, SF still manage to put up a fight with teams in contention like against the cards in their stadium, gave the seahawks a scare last game of the season, and swept the rams twice... I'll tip my hat off to coach Shanahan, only concern is loss of their DC in R. Saleh ...
Hoping Trey enables us to have a better drop back game. It’s not like Kyle isn’t capable of scheming it up and we upgrade the O Line so we should be able to protect pure drop backs better
I think that's the exact opposite of why he drafted him. Jimmy isn't mobile so teams can zero in on the run game a little easier. Now add in the zone read with a mobile guy....they'll be lights out. This is coming from a Cards fan lol
Trey is mobile and dropped back to pass more than any qb in the draft when he was in college. He can audible and set protections as well. Kyle knows if he coaches coach him up, the entire playbook will be available.
@@frankiespearman1433 I’m with you bro Kyle didn’t draft a QB with whom he can’t open up the whole playbook. It’ll take some time but Trey will be just fine in the drop back game, as he gets better he will be able to lean on his mobility and the rpo/play action
Now I see through this breakdown why they drafted Lance and why if he plays early it won’t be a big panic...your breakdown of Lance in NDST during draft process shows how he matches up in Shanahan offense with his ability to make good decisions...what he has to work on is his accuracy especially when he tries to make the perfect throw
4:14 "Nice little cut back." I just want to remind you and tell everyone else who might not know: This isn't really a cut back. The ball starts on the left hash. The "cut" takes place on the right hash, and thanks to the movement, the "cut" is off the backside tackle. The HB "bends it back" to where the ball began the play on the left hash. Functionally, this is still a run to the right of up the middle. That is why the zone is so amazing. You make the defense move to one side of the field to over pursue you, and then go downhill behind them.
Kurt is the best with all 22. Pictures yourself as a LB trying to get outside against the PFF #1 rated run Tackles. The best blocking TE in football and the best Fullback in football. You’re trying to knife through to get a one cut runner with 4.3 speed, and now a new perfect balance, forward lean, Frank Gore clone. If you cheat up to hold the edge you get burned with a spot pass into the second level. The scheme is terrific. It’s meticulously timed. It’s staffed with Blue Chips at the point of attack. It will be devastating and will keep the opposing offense off the field.
I wouldn’t say that is the 9ers offense in a nutshell, niners usually has more passing attempts, also on 2019 you wouldn’t see more than 2 or 3 gadget plays per game, also as far as I’m concerned, jimmy already proved he can beat teams without running game on 2019
If this offense is so great, so "easy on the QB", why has SF been 3rd or 4th in their division 3 of the last 4 years? The only time SF wins consistently is when Jimmy G is playing quarterback (a QB developed 4 years in New England, behind Tom Brady), but we're told it's "all Kyle" and "any QB can succeed in SF." Something doesn't add up… Like Bill Parcells says: You are what your record says you are.
Because two years they had the worst defense in the NFL, and they have only had a starting caliber QB play one full year in addition to an incredible amount of injuries. Lookat the talent on the team, then look at what their offense ranks and it is always 10+ spots higher than the actual talent they have.
As a niner fan I can't stand this tricky dicky misdirection crap... The main reason is it doesn't really work. 1) teams watch tape and they can easily pick up what The scheme is going to be, so decent teams if they study will know what is about to happen. 2) it's actually really easy to counter misdirection and we have seen a lot of teams defenses do it and do it well, all you do is sit back and don't play aggressive. Misdirection only works if the other teams is aggressive and bites on the fakes. But if the defense is smart they hang back 1-2 seconds and watch and see what developed and bam they know what's going on and easily hone in on the ball carrier. This stuff isn't smart it really doesn't work all that well with teams that's do their homework
The thing about that is there schemes both the run and pass are mostly identical so you really can't tell because you think there running one thing because you played against before (or seen it on tape) but really it's something different or maybe the same thing but with a "twist". Kyle study these defenses just like DCs studying his offense if you wanna hang back for a couple seconds fine then he'll do this, if wanna be aggressive okay then he'll do that. As long as he has right pieces to execute this offense it can work like a charm all day long.
@@jmcghane work like a charm did you not watch the Superbowl against the Chiefs.... The Niners had nothing. Chiefs defense tore them a new one... Work like a charm lol you must be on some serious cheap street crack.
@@joesmith201212 The offense work like charm for 3 1/4 of the game the reason they got us at the end is because Kyle stop running the football and wanna do drop back (not PA) passing which played right into the Chiefs' hands and won them the game. The Chiefs had no answer against the run the Honey badger himself said that by saying "Thank God they stop running the football". Which is why I don't put the full blame losing on SB on Jimmy but mostly on Kyle.
@@jmcghane the second half they had nothing and Kyle stopped running the ball because of oh are you ready for this are you ready? You ready to have you little mind blown...... BECAUSE THE CHIEFS SAW THROUGH HiS DUMB SCHEMES!!!! They don't work the, the chiefs knew what was going to happen and when they werent sure they just sat back for two seconds and then let Kyles screw him self with these dumb schemes and they just swarmed the ball. Damn man it's not really not rocket science.... The proof is in the pudding man. Don't even know what you are arguing about. The results prove my point through and through. Don't even know what is your point.
@@joesmith201212 The Chiefs didn't see through the offense because if they did would've shut it down at least in the 2nd Qtr (if not the 1st) because Deebo was ripping them apart every time he touch the ball they had no answer for him but after the 2nd int by Mahomes he never touched it ever again. Anyway the point is only few teams (Seattle for instance) have the ability stop this offense and even if they did stop it Kyle will come up with countermeasures next time they face (if he hasn't already) because as I said before Kyle looking at defenses and finding out there weaknesses to exploit them just like DCs doing the same thing with his offense. Believe it or not the offense does work the way that it's design so as long as Kyle have the proper players to execute it he can win bunch of games and a SB with it.
Kurt thanks for the Breakdown, On how we swept the Rams😂🤣
Trent Williams, McGlinchey, Juice and Kittle are all elite RUN blockers. The addition of Alex Mack and Aaron Banks will help too.
Also jimmy g, he is capable of pancaking players
Its going to be a savage year!

This is great stuff Mr. Warner. Your videos are very educational
One of the reasons why play action works so well with jimmy is because of his quick release and ability to throw off platform
Because the run game effective
Aw man can’t wait to watch the breakdown, but ya hate to see that cut intro. Glad that this wasn’t just a pre-draft qb rundown
I never get tired watching this offense because it look so complex no wonder defenses have a hard time stopping them.

49ers OL is better than last year and there will be more highlights to come. Love the video keep it coming.
Nice work
Great video!
Run game is the basis of the offense. Depending on the personnel week by week, Kyle makes the entire offense earn the pass play.
SF used more power (pulls, traps, pitches, counters, etc) than they used Zone in 2019 and 2020 from what I have read and seen.
This is true one could say that the Zone is most likely a decoy for something else they have in store for defenses.

Jimmy locks in on targets. Had few TD's he missed.

Why did he not throw that seam route??
Because it was a designed bubble, players never looked for ball if you noticed, they just went straight blocking

Zaven collins and simmions are going to destroy the 49ers
