I lived there 33 years and this card just hit me ….I am missing a lot of my friends….so I have about a dozen I want to make this weekend and get mailed off. Thank you for the inspiration
Knock it off! I love this fun concept. Your cards turned out great. The scariest part of a shaker card for me is lining up that cover panel. Mine almost always wants to go cattywampus. Happy Anniversary to you and the Mister. I always think each year of marriage gets better. I hope it's a lovely day for y'all.
I wear gold and silver all the time. In fact my James Avery is made with both. I consider the embellishments as clear with iridescent effects. Love the card and the idea of the knock it off! 😊
MY ANNIVERSARY IS OCT 19!!!! Happy Anniversary! I have been married 21 years to the love of my life, who says nothing about how much I spend on crafting goodies! This is a super idea and I hope you make it a regular thing! Thanks for all the inspiration! You are the best!
Your cards were gorgeous. And honestly the silver looked fine, I think it gave it a little more contrast than if it was all gold. Love the idea for "knock it off" can't wait to see more! Also, happy anniversary!

I am loving this segment I have only been cardmaking for a year so I don't have a LOT of supplies (who am I kidding) Almost every thing I do is a "knock off"..lol. Thank you!
Love the idea for the series. Looking forward to playing along after I get my craft room back in order. I moved my craft room from upstairs to downstairs and now have a craft/office using mostly existing IKEA units. Did end up getting a few cabinets, but otherwise just a paint move reconfiguration operation. Less space than had before, but it’s a good thing. Forcing a bit of a purge will help me focus on creating. So-looking forward to jumping back in. Congrats on your recent milestone!

Cathy thank you for this wonderful tutorial (as usual)! As a person who sews and uses a rotary cutter daily, you may find it easier to cut AWAY from you. You will have more control - and it will be safer 😊
