    In this video I'll be showing you guys how I like to customize my scanner when looking for swing trades in the stock market
    My Stocktwits Handle: stocktwits.com...
    My Twitter Handle: / bromus93
    Stock trading contains substantial risk and traders can potentially lose their potential investment. Only risk capital that you are willing to lose. Everything that is discussed in the video such as chart pattern, candlestick pattern, price action, etc is for illustrative purposes and should not be considered as advisory recommendations but rather as illustrative purposes. All information present is making an educated guess based on previous history and should not be taken as facts.

    Bromus, Thank you for this, I've been searching for this kind of video for so long. No other videos have explained the basics of TA in 6 minutes. This was really GREAT! I'm SUBSCRIBED and LIKED the video. Now I'm going to check out your other videos. Best wishes on your channel.

    • @Bromus

      Glad to hear it man! I kind of forgot this video had some TA involved since the main point of the video was just creating a scanner to find potential swings and less of determining if that stock is actually a good candidate. In any case I will continue uploading more videos relating with TA content and some fundamentals to help increase the probability of making money

      Just found it myself, looks like a winner. Been using it a lot today and a couple of opportunities are looking very nice atm, appreciate the video Bromus. Any quick thoughts on buying below the SMA/on the dip and how that can work for/against you?

    • @Bromus
      @Bromus  3 года назад +1

      @@codeman3788 Recently I've learned that its ok to buy a stock below the sma if the stock is fundamentally well(i.e they have a good income/cash flow sheet). In that case I would just look for the next level of support like I did with DOMO in the past.

    Bromus....good video. Question...GENERALLY speaking....what criteria do you use to determine your stops?

    • @Bromus
      @Bromus  3 года назад

      I would typically look to see if a stock broke below a major support area. I typically like using the daily and weekly for observing support area with putting more importance on the weekly. If I'm playing a stock with strong fundamentals however I dont typically need to worry about getting stopped out and just typically keep adding on support areas

I will let it run for a few days .I am just about to stop out of INSG. About $ .15 more down an it will be gone. Would you let this run any farther the chart looks bad.. I will move my stop up on gnmk, what would set it at?.I will move my stop up on Vstm. We will see how it goes.

When you see one you "like" are you then creating an alert for a TP/SL? I guess I just would like to know how you proceed AFTER identifying potential movers. We are looking for stocks that have potential to go HIGHER with this correct? Not shorting?

    Is there a buy order type to ride the parabolic curve down and back up again and enter a position when the price starts to swing up? What order type would suit this without having to watch the price 24/7. I know a trail limit works in the opposite way for a sell, but is there an equivalent way with a buy?

    When you are swing trading do you use Level 2 Time and Sales data? Or do you find that it’s not as important.

    • @Bromus
      @Bromus  3 года назад +1

      Level 2 Times and Sales imo is more useful for daytrading. However I'll admit I was using the times and sales data on TOS for RVP just because I wanted to see whats going on for fun. I mean you could use it if you were deciding if you wanted to exit a position but 9 out of 10 times I don't even use

      @@Bromus Thanks a lot for your quick reply! I found that it was more for day trading, so you could gauge buyers and sellers. Usually when day trading super low floats they can crash on the time when the buyers leave. Glad to hear that it isn’t that useful. I’ve never traded live data but that’s the one thing I am willing to spend on.

Now the only reason I knew about TSLA was because someone else called it out on stocktwits. I just simply looked at the chart on my own and came to the conclusion that this should run if it ran over 600. I did not take an entry unfortunately but once it broke over 600 it started moving.
