    Health watchers.. you may substitute fat in the recipe with mashed bananas. Same amount. As for sweetner.. you may use honey but less than the sugar required for honey is naturally sweeter as we’ll be having bananas in the recipe. Lst, you maybe substitute flour with ground oats and you will have a healthier version of special fudge brownies! 🍪

      Btw by melting the sugar naging flakey sya, the more dissolved ang sugar(sucrose lng) the more flakeyness makukuha mo, so sa mga gagawa be patient sa pag melt hahahaha

    Hi Maam! I have tested and tried your recipe. Do you have a technique to mix butter and sugar? I end up in sugar crystallizing prior to full melting of butter.

      hi ms.belle, honestly di ko alam un reason why. usually, yan ung na e encounter din ng iba na problem. never ko pa kasi na experience ung ganon. if tama tanda ko, may isang sa double boiler na lang minelt un sugar and butter. di naman need na totally melted un sugar pero a lot smoother kesa sa umpisa. tested ko na din yan kahit sa microwave po. haluin lang every mga 20 seconds.

    Na try ko na po ito 2x s improvise big kawali, then 3x sa new small oven hehe masarap po. Pero nxt na gawa ko po less ako ng sugar para medyo tumagal naman po Ang brownies Lagi po kasi akong nauubusan 😠.       pero moist po ung brownies? hindi sya dry? chill mo muna po bago i slice. pero if buhaghag dahil dry, pedeng overbaked or too much flour po. if messy lang hiwain, chill mo muna po.

      pag ako kasi mas madalas na iniiwan ko lang sya sa room temp overnight..then slice next day. pero if moist naman sya, why sya magbubuhaghag? as in crumbly? o nasama sa knife? if ganon, try mo i dip sa hot water then wipe ung knife po.

    Naka turn ON po ba yung upper heat ng oven nyo po while baking? I tried this pero mine wasn't flaky at all 😓

      naka gas oven po ako. bottom lang un fire. nag melt ng ayos or at least same ng sa kin un sugar and butter po? don sya nagiging flaky.

      usually sa electric oven, top and bottom un fire then sa ginta un rack po. depende din sa oven.

      i just followed the procedure from the original source of the recipe (king arthur). but i think, it's because the butter and sugar are still hot, that it can cook the egg.

      depende sa oven mo sir migz eh. pero sa oven ko, sa center po if sa electric oven. if sa gas ko naman, sa baba po.

      haven't tried it po. i think better din ang flavor pag butter ang gamit. baka di din mag melt ng ayos ung sugar.

    Nagka problem lang po ako sa 1st part, ung melt butter & sugar... Nagthickens po sya, ung butter ko parang over melted na pero ung sugar ko di pa melted. Hindi sya nagcombined para pong humiwalay ung sugar sa butter. How to avoid po kaya ito? Thanks.

      thanks so much din po. honestly po, yan madalas na nagiging problem ng iba po. pero never ko pa kasi sya na experience kaya di ko din tlaga alam why. nung nagbasa basa ko sa possible cause, meron ako nabasa na pedeng dahil sa butter. something sa water content of tama tanda ko po. try to use other brand. san maging mas ok. magnolia gold unsalted gamit ko po. tested na din yan sa baker's best margarine. or try microwave instead na direct fire. haluin mo lang from time to time. tested na din po un.😊

      Mraming beses n po ko gmwa ng brownies. Na notice ko po yan, pg hndi pure butter ang gamit, hndi po totally nadidissolve yung sugar, buo buo parin cia. Kpag nabake n un brownies, pag kinagat, mafifeel nio po ung buo buo sugar. I tried it butter cup at dairy creme, ganyan po result. Pg manolia, natutunaw po maganda ung sugar. Sabay cia namemelt sa butter. Share ko lng po

    hi po ask ko lang po if nglagay po kayo ng parchment sa sides? and how to know if ok na po yung brownies.. d po kasi kami masyado friends ni brownies but i really like it.. either too soft na nghihiwalay pg cut ko or tooo hard na di na macut.. thank you po

      may konting sobra lang na parchment sa sa side ung s kin, pero better if buong side meron. toothpick test po. pero ok lang kahot di super clean un toothpick kasi naluluto pa namn sya habang nalamig. medyo moist un toothpick pero hindi liquid and wala ng crumbs.😊

      @@lygasale di ko pa sya na try sa brownies po eh. sa cake kasi di ako fan ng ganong style (grease + flour or cocoa). un iba is foil ang gamit.

      11"x11"x2". uhm, un material ba ng mismong pan? manipis lang un sa kin. mumurahin lang na pan. kahit ano naman is ok lang, kung san ka mas masasanay. magiiba lang ng onti un baking time. un mga dark na pan, mas madali din sila uminit.

      hi ms.joan. belated happy heart's day po. un sa apoy. naka gas kasi ako ms.joan. sa baba un apoy pero mas mainit sa upper rack. mini version ng pang bakery po kasi. gamitin mo na lang un same na gamit mo sa mga cakes mo po. 😊
