Prune the vines at multiple levels. Cut some stems about a third of the way down and others a quarter way down. Prune the vines to just above a leaf node to avoid cutting and leaving bare stems.
I think that's a Monstera you got there, and quite the unique one. I would recommend you get the guy a big moss pole for support maybe even a grow light and set it on the ground rather than the stool cuz it is very much out growing the current setup you have for it. Some support for the stem would be much helpful, you can even make your own diy one or use one of those plastic mesh poles that you fill with dirt and than plug the stems in using orchard clips or just zip-ties. Monstera are quite beautiful plants, they grow these giants leaves with streaked shaped holes in them, you can see that on some of the leaves on your own plant. If you do decide to make cuttings those, I would recommend the advice you've already gotten here of using banana peels and water. Also that's a beautiful aloe vera there, I do hope you transfer it to a pot and get it some much needed sunlight so the leaves become much fuller. Happy Gardening 🌿
I believe your plant is either a Monstera or a philodendron. You can gut off pieces and start new plants. Cut right around the joint just not through it. We have fluoride in our water so you have to let it sit in a container for at least 24-48 hours for it to dissipate, I started adding my egg shells from hard boiling them, in the water along with some banana peels, and a little epsom salt or baking soda, and OMG, they took off. Now I need a new home for them as they've outgrown my apartment, and I don't even get good sun. They do know they are my nature along with my animals, rocks, and crystals, so they give generously. I stuck a cutting from a plant similar to yours and it lived in the water until this summer when a mosquito laid eggs. Actually, I think he just changed the water and it lives on. You can use the leftover water from boiling eggs straight into it, and they thrive, you can plant it if you want to. I hope that helps. I just put it together that you too are a Dragon friend.
