The picture of Glenn Beth and Hershel was in Maggie’s office It’s actually been there since Season 9
I’m never gonna hate you goddamn it Daryl doesn’t have much to say often but when he does speak it’s powerful and his message is felt That scene was so well executed because it shows the deep friendship those two have yet it shows the flaws in it right now Of course Daryl could never hate Carol but at the same time he didn’t console her or hug her like he usually would So well executed.
Did you notice that Negan’s mask had a grin like the Joker.
Jadis/Anne made the paintings it looks like her style and they show her painting something back in Season 9
Cool little behind the scenes tidbit here but on Talking Dead after this episode it was revealed that Jeffery Dean Morgan (Negan) absolutely did not want to wear a Whisperer mask but since he had to he put in one little request make the mask unique and have some sort of Negan trademark on it If you look closely you’ll notice that his mask had the Joker like smile cut in at the corners of the mouth something that made Jeffery actually love his mask.
I don’t know if you noticed but Daryl lost his wing when Rick died and how he’s got his right hang girl by his side Grimes 2.0
That jacket Judith made might be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.
Another fun fact: Gamma the actress Thora Birch is Dani Denison the little girl in Hocus Pocus.
Love Eugene and Rosita's friendship. Glad Eugene has a love interest to. Hate Negan having to play evil again. He has come so far. Poor Carol still with the feelings, Daryl told her he'd never hate her but he can't forget her right now. Too soon.
I absolutely love Rosita and Eugene’s friendship It’s so heartwarming She offers for him to kiss her because she knows he won’t do it because he has feeling for this radio girl And the only way he will truly go for this new possible relationship is if he realizes he can’t kiss the girl he was in love with for so long because he wants to kiss a girl he never met She wants to see him happy so bad it was just so heartwarming to see Lots of great character moments like that in this episode.
I Love how they played Negan’s theme when Daryl realized Negan was with the Whisperers plus the people were hung up and the blocked trail were a direct reference to Last Day On Earth (The Season 6 finale where he was introduced.
Fun Fact: The slingshots that the Whisperers used to fire the tree sap was confirmed to be made out of Walker intestines.
