Harold Nicholas promised he was on the way and would be home immediately when Dotty's water broke in half. She waited and waited and waited 'til She couldn't wait anymore. The baby was born autistic. It's possible but can't be proven that Miss Dandridge holding back on the birth may've caused the autism. Nonetheless Dorothy-who was a badly treated wife-blaned the Girl's condition on him. If the marriage was a sham b4, it was a doubl-sham afterwards. Harold kept up with no care for the Girl while Dandridge did Her bes' as a single Mother. With no other alternatives left, DD hadda put Her only daughter in a home, hoping to 1 day retrieve Her while She builds a nest egg for both while an uncaring Harold Nicholas had multiple affairs and multiple wives. So when i hear "Nicholas Bros", they may be very talented choreographists, but Harold Nicholas deadbeat dad and was horrible to-of all Women-the Black Marilyn Monroe, of all Women
