Crying 😭 now; I still miss M.J., daily Lord can you please send him back to us... R.l.H. Missed on 🌎 earth, we love you! If we love and miss him this much; imagine how his family feels 💕 let's keep them in our prayers always, we love The Jacksons.
Dear Michael has always been my favorite song on this album. Back in the day, Kim Fields, Tootie from The Facts of Life, did a remake of it, and had an urban hit with it. Radio stations used to play a remox combining the 2 as a duet. ❤
I genuinely love all of his albums. No idea why newer fans try to separate his work. He's been recording music since the 1960's and every album is a gem.
@@GalaxyNexus1 I don't understand it either but many fans I've spoken to online just don't bother with his earlier work, not even the J5. That is so bizarre to me.
It's so great to see someone of a different generation realize why Michael Jackson became the icon he is. I saw him (and his brothers) in concert for the first time when I was 4 years old. I then saw them (and him) multiple more times in my childhood/ young adulthood. And then in 2002, I got to spend 5 days at Neverland - and see him be a regular dad. (Chris Tucker took me; we were working together at the time and happened to become friends before he was famous.) "SURREAL" couldn't even start to explain what that experience was like. I'm a writer (supposedly what Chris and I were doing there, but we didn't accomplish much because we were having too much fun 😁), so I've written 10 chapters about what happened way back when. If you ask for them, I'll past them.
😅 Dude, it is 4:30am & I am searching all your Jackson-related reaction videos...I AM SO GLAD YOU HAVE FOUND OLDER ALBUMS!!! A lot of the younger generation ONLY know of Michael as far back as Off The Wall of Thriller, but you did the deep dive that I'd hoped you would. Now you see that he was legendary from childhood (at a very high cost, sadly). Also, you may now understand that, as a lifelong fan, there is NO WAY I could narrow down just ONE favorite song of his-whether a solo track or with his brothers (either group), because his catalog is way too expansive!!! And it's not like he just recorded songs due to contractual obligations you said yourself (on one of your MANY reactions videos), he makes you feel what he's singing! Like, you don't question the passion he has for a girl, even at a young age, because of how he makes you believe that he is capable of such love for her. Once again, not only am I glad that you went down the Jackson rabbit hole, but that you thoroughly seem to be enjoying the trip! Btw, I subbed many videos ago; only interested in Jackson-related reactions, and I'm up, stalking each one I can find. I watched others reacting to videos from Mike & the groups, but only subbed to YOU because you seem to feel what I felt when listening to these songs growing up. I am very interested in your reaction to The Jacksons Live album; I left the link in a few previous videos, & hope you'll get around to it.
This isn’t a song on any of his albums, but you should look up this song called “Call on me” (you can play the 1984 remix version too, it’s pretty much the same song, I don’t think it’s even a remix but that’s what they call it), It’s honestly one his most beautiful ballads in my opinion, super underrated gem! It must’ve been written/sung around the same time as he was making this album.
It's on "Farewell My Summer Love" He can react to the whole album if he wants, there's some incredible good gems there: The title track, Melodie, Call On Me, Touch The One You Love, etc.
love your reactions man. its like a journey for us subscribers to learn more and more about the goat. never heard this album either....got the earphones on... take it easy mate!!
Could you consider doing an even more underrated album by Michael called Farewell My Summer Love. They are pretty old songs, but soooo goood, they are much older than this Forever Michael album
I love this album! Forever Michael flopped to the point Joe said Michael would NEVER record another solo album for motown and accused them of ruining his career. What people realize is this is the album that was the main factor in them leaving motown.
Michael didn't write any of the songs in this album or the ones before or after until he moved to Epic Records in like 76 or 77 with the Jacksons Destiny album that is when they started producing and writting all the songs, here he was only 16 when this was released and was still with Motown so it was written by different motown songwriters for him or given to him songs they didn't want on their records, but he sang them all beautifully, his vocala were always amazing 🔥
MJ's voice at this stage was extremely beautiful!!!
True
It seriously was👌🏾🔥
This era is so cold because literally young Mike and older Mike combined.
Facts!
MJ had one of the most beautiful and melodious voices ever. He paints a picture when he sings and he had a one of a kind voice.I love him!
Forever. Michael. Sempre🎉🎉🎉
Also this is the 1st full album of Michael sining in tenor. He was 16 when this album was recorded (in the fall of 74)
Crying 😭 now; I still miss M.J., daily

Forever, Michael is a fantastic album. It really puts me in my feels. 🥹
I genuinely love all 4 of his solo albums MJ did for Motown.

I also love the way his voice sounds here! I’ve recently really gotten into the Jackson 5 album “Moving Violation”, the songs are so good!

Call on me might be the best vocal Michael ever did. I prefer the original 73 mix to the remixed version on farewell my summer love
@@DavidSmith-cx9cuagreed...original sounds waaay better
