Riga -Episode 10 Europe by rail and ferry -

In this episode we explore the city of Riga in Latvia. Although also a Baltic state, it has some similarities but many differences to Lithuania and Estonia. Another fascinating trip through history. Thank you Riga - we loved it and learned so much.

The kGB building was ominous. Loved seeing P a little mellow singing and hand dancing, and of course sourcing choc and ice cream. I recall when I was in Munchen they had the freedom Angel and I was told there was one in most German major cities, and were gold. I wonder if it’s a think they are in most countries affected by The war?

The freedom monuments over this way have been related to independence from Soviet occupation
