Can't tire of watching this. Rishi, i can't thank you enough for this. DKJ's body language is simply amazing. He seems truly thrilled by PR's brilliance. PR = Palghat Raghu = PRecision
What a treat.. been lookin for this for a few years now. After getting spoilt - watching this quite regularly for a few years almost everyday.. i was heartbroken when i couldnt find it online anymore. I understand there are some concerns about permissions. If its taken down also, i will understand..
Dearest Sir, so good to hear from you. Yes there are some concerns regarding permissions. I can privately send it to you if I am told to take this down.
@@RishiManoharanat around 8:50, what is PR signaling to (someone) in the audience.. with his right hand, circling clockwise? Any guesses. What my mind comes up with, is not quite comforting..
@@RishiManoharan I think because Sri V Suresh plays the korvai played by Palghat Raghu so may be he says it symbolically. No offence to anyone. Please don't take it seriously.
How long have we hoped for this! Was this part of Sri. David Nelson's dissertation, where he has transcribed 5 Thanis from as many artists for the same Kruthi?
Really humbled to get a comment from you. Have seen your comments across the internet and never thought I’d get a comment from you! And a fellow Bhagavan devotee too!
What is this 5 thanis for same kruthi? Who are the other vidvans who have played for this kruthi? Are they also available? Very curious. Tried to look up Sri. Nelson on YT. Indeed, a few returns came. Who did he learn from?
@@varadharajanranganathan3761 You can look into Shri T.K.Murthy's thani to Kaligiyunte, Sung by DK Jayaraman in youtube. Same goes for Guru Shri Kariakudi Mani Iyer's thani. Another thani is by Shri Trichy Sankaran, who played thani to same kriti, which was played by T.Viswanathan, which is available on youtube. I don't know about the 5th artist.
