I have the Easy tote in a few colors and it’s an amazing bag! The long shoulder straps and the short handle straps are so convenient and gives the bag a few different looks and ways to be worn and styled. Highly recommend!
I am not so sure if the cracking is normal. I have 10 years old Longchamp bags and no cracking there..... I did not buy Polene because of this exact reason: I was in their Paris store and the bags exposed showed scratches on the hardware and cracks on the glue. I personally think this is a big no-go and should not happen. Thank you for sharing this review, I will not buy this bag.
I totally agree. I also have a longchamp leather bag and no cracking at all. I guess it s linked to the quality of the leather and I will definitely not buy Cuyana’s bag after watching the update. I prefer to put a bit more money and have a bag that will last a very long time and will still look good. I don t have a Polene store near me. Did you see this kind of issue on the Cyme tote too?
I agree for that price it can hold up better. The hardware doesn’t give you a sense of high end like other parts of the bag. I am more forgiving about the cracking because of how oversize and heavy my work laptop is. I am thinking of getting their backpack so it’s more convenient, but having some hesitation. Thanks for sharing your comment. All good points.
@@alizee4219 I did not see the Cyme tote when I was in Polene's Paris store earlier this year. But all the other bags on display had those issues so I am in general not sure about the long-term quality of those bags.
Update: I was in San Fran a month ago and visited the Cuyana store. I did not buy the system tote because the finish on the finish on the raw edges felt as thick as the one on the Polene bags and after this video, I think they will get cracks in the future. However, I loved the classic easy tote and bought one. The edges do not have this finish, they are sewn in a way that does not show the raw edges, therefore the issue with the cracking should not happen with this bag.
Great video, thank you! The tote looks great, and I love all the inserts that go with it. I have their tote, the older version that they are just updating. It's very nice but pretty heavy, especially if you add the insert that they have for it. Their backpack is nice!! Light and spacious.
@@christinaoconnell7476 I can’t figure out if the texture is a coating or the leather is actually like that naturally. I’ve rubbed off some of on the handles. I do still like the bag.
They do not unless I have too much in the attached small pocket flap then it flops around. The tech case that’s added divides the bag into two halves giving an organizational element. It’s pretty handy, but I will remove when I don’t plan to use it for anything.
Great video! I wonder if full grain leather would be more suitable for you - based on the need for durability! Have you heard of Portland Leather Goods? They are reasonably priced full grain leather and my workhorses!
That is a great point with the full grain leather! I like how this feels but in reality I’m just stuffing it to the brim at least once a week. I have not heard of Portland Leather Goods, but I’m going to look into it. Thank you for sharing your recommendation!
I have a few bags, the easy tote tall, the easy tote zippered and the mini system tote. I also have the travel set and a zippered pouch. All my items have been great so far! I did try the large system tote, but did not like that the straps cracked so fast. How is your holding up?
Hello! Just saw your comment. I have an update here. ruclips.net/video/NGObhyQ-MII/видео.html Mine are cracked in some spots as well though, I am not precious with my bag and regularly put an big laptop in there that's it's not designed for.
I found this video and your earlier one comparing the large and medium system tote very helpful. Thanks Michi! I just got my System tote and notice that underneath the opening flaps, where the back of the buttons are, mine has these cheap looking white plastic discs - providing support to the buttons. Is this the same for your bag?
Interesting!! I just looked at mine and they do look like plastic disks that are plated to match the buttons. Are yours not painted over or has some hardware over them?
Hi ! How would you describe the light stone color ? I agree with you, I think colors are not very accurate on their website 🤔 Thanks for sharing, I was curious about it ! Do you think a 15/16’ sleeve will fit in a 13’ tote ? By the dimensions on the website, it seems it could ... perharps
You can squeeze the insert into a 13" tote, but it would be squashed, because there is about a half inch of leather sitting on them of the inside of the bag where the insert would sit. This overlap is actually where the two pieces of leather making up of the bag is stitched together.

I love hearing that!! Thanks for sharing. What is the weight of the bag like once you have all your things put in?

Love this brand, my tote bag I have had it for 5 years.
I’ve been using mind for 2 years. Still going strong minus some wear.
Very nice share on the tote 👜 bag thanks for sharing great job thumbs up 👍
Thank you so much!
What a pretty bag!
It’s my go-to bag for everyday. 😁

Hello do you find those inner flaps get in your way? Not sure how I feel about those but I love the shape of the bag

Is this the 13 inch or 16 inch bag?
It is 13 inch. She has a very helpful review video of a smaller and bigger one. To compare the sizes
