@@nijat9192His was a poor example but his point is right. There are currently a lot of things in the tree on POB that don't calculate properly. Not only that but on multiple characters they are struggling with Max Life. Add to it the fact you still can't import characters easily, it's kind of a bummer wasting all that time to set up and getting completely incorrect calculations.
I think it was a bit rushed just to release, but from what i heard he updates pob1 very reg, so we shall see, I am holding off until we can import our chars
so i was helping a friend with is build and i first put in the passive tree and when i was done we had more Dex attribute than what it shows in POE2 and we check over checked it, any help or were i can go for help on this

They released it so we can help make it better by reporting bugs and giving feedback. Nobody should use it currently and expecting it to be anywhere close to accurate.
Quick question, i have set up my infernalist and my base accuracy of the reavers is around 700 while in game is around 1200, now if i tweak in PoB till i get 1200 the % is not 100 like in the game so its nice to know how much more i need but why are they not the same base value?

A couple vids back Ghazzy mentions a few, the one he's using that uses overwolf (forgot the name sorry) is way better imo, tons of features that make trades easier. I even have Aerith from FF7 tell me when I get a trade lol
I've been having issues with pob 2, im not sure if you can help, or perhaps the pob 2 still needs work, or perhaps it's just my user error? My issue is that my lightning conduit with cast on shock isn't being properly calculated, it's not taking into account of magnitude of shocks and shocks on enemies, even though I have it set up in the configuration. Currently it's showing lightning conduit as giving 5k dps, but in game it's doing much more than that. I would appreciate any help or advice, thank you for helpful videos!
Ignore all the links in the post, they're for info, etc. Just scroll down to the bottom of "Release #.#.#" (in this case 0.2.0) and you'll see the portable or setup. Either one works. One's a zip you can extract, one's an executable setup.
Took the time to put my entire character into POB. Seems to have calculated everything perfectly and is very satisfying to look at. Now, how do I use this to find upgrades or what I should upgrade next on my character?
you can for example go to the items section and either create custom item there or paste items from the tradesite to check what brings you the biggest dps upgrades, you can check what impact swapping out support gems would have on your damage, to name two ways
I really wish the info in the game was accurate enough for PoB to not be necessary. Like why does the game say SRS has 100% accuracy if it actually doesn't? The tool tip data needs to be better
I can't make it do anything for me. I downloaded it from your first vid and meh. Maybe in the weeks ahead it will become functional and there might be a decent tutorial on it.
Ghazzy I love your content and watch you videos since a couple of years, but I have 1 thing I have to ask you. Because now all poe players are playing together, including console, it would be nice to make your build guides a bit more console friendly. Most console players will not have a pc up and running right next to there console. So I suggest that you go through your build in detail that they can at least rewind the vid on there phone to follow the guide. Besides from that awesome that the new path of building is now live. Need to check if my old laptop can handle it 😂
Strange that nobody told you how. You chance orb a white tattered robe, this has a high chance of becoming ghostwrithe. Maybe 1/5 odds or close to that. If you don't have chance orbs but have gold you can also gamble tattered robes from Finn on a level 2 character. Doesn't need to be lvl 2, but thats the lowest level you can enter town and gambling is cheaper the lower your level is. So create a new char and run to clearfell. This can take more than 100 gambles, but eventually you will get it. When you run out of gamble charges, you can spam kill Beira the frost witch in clearfell to generate more charges, who also has a (low) chance of dropping ghostwrithe herself. You can put on some low level rarity gear to increase your chances. Thats how you get low level uniques - works for Widowhail and Oaksworn too. Might take a few hours to farm, but you'll eventually get one either from Beira or from gambling.
I'm playing a Detonate Dead build so my damage calculations aren't very helpful because all its showing me is the flat fire damage that I'm not trying to scale what so ever. Do you have any suggestions on how I could use this tool to improve my build or is it always kind of 'fucky' for Detonate Dead calculations?

Yes I now have at lest a couple a hundred Divines in my inventory having played 779.8 hours according to steam since launch. My question is why does GGG want me to spend a huge part of my time stopping playing and selling shit??? These streamers are having plebs doing that for them!! This is toxic.
While I understand the appeal of sites like this, I dislike that they will inevitably allow people to start optimizing all the fun out of the game, and force to the devs to make a bunch of changes based solely on how people break the game using this site. It's too much of a double-edged sword, in my opinion.
It's the opposite. Poe 1 has this and it's what makes the game so accessible for casuals. If someone's likes a build, they simply get a pob link of a build they like from someone and follow the steps that's instructed and they don't have to think much about it. Although, some people take it too far and stream them toying with this for literally 5+ hours
fun is not knowing how to improve your character? idk its not fun to me to waste double digit hours to have something not work. this argument that the "fun" gets optimized has always been a bad one for me

I'm convinced PoB is a major reason so many people are afraid to jump into POE. The first thing they see when going to a guide is this full-blown 3rd party calculator and they give up before installing the game.
Until GGG provides the API for importing characters, this is almost useless for me. Or at least too much trouble to add stuff one by one, I'd rather just play the game, or another one in this case.
@@Knights_of_the_Nine nope. on PoE1 you can import your character and work on it. Currenlty you either have to be following a guide to the letter, or manually enter your entire passive skill tree and every piece of equipment you're wearing. There's still value in it tho, but I just dont feel like spending an entire hour or so doing that to be honest.
@@igorlemes1123 i've remade my character in like 5 minutes, on items you can ctrl+c in game hovering over item, then you ctrl+v in pob, same with jewels i passive tre, nodes on passive tree are pretty fast to do either, gem skills are super simple because you do not have to set support gem levels, quality etc. Does it calculate right?, i think not really, but you are able to tweak some stuff over your character, too early yet to tell it is a working pob version, there is still much to do.
if you copy the item text from the PoE2 trade site, it can still import it in PoB and it seems to work fine

I'd say its required, but then i remember every mob has no HP an bosses fall over in 0.1 second already.

Dude Pob has been around for years man. It's not a problem. It helps you build better.
You are not obligated to use this, as so trading sites. SSF is for you then

It takes about five minutes to set up your character. Ctrl+c your items and paste em in pob.
