@@GeraltOfRivia69 ink tank printers face more issues when they're not used, which can easily happen at home. Completely depends on whether someone wants color or not, but for B/W, laser printers are so much superior.
⚠ If you are a Windows user, then no issues. But if you are a Mac user, then Brother software integration is shite! The iPrint&Scan software is pretty useless. Even the service centre is helpless because the issue is not the product. The product is good, but they make zero effort to make it compatible with the latest macOS updates.
You can print directly, without needing to install the driver on Windows. I didn't install the iPrint software on Windows either, does Mac not print to USB/Wi-Fi printers directly without needing to install software?

ink gets dried when not in used in any inkjet printer.
