The reason the PLA is training in the mountains and brining in new weapons is because they got their ass kicked, hand to hand by Indian troops. All the weapons in the world won’t do anything for PLA troops who are too out of shape to fight in the mountains.
I’ve worked with the Indians in joint training in 2016 when they came to the United States. Great troops. Tough and very tactically competent.
I believe the same my great uncle who was a white Scottish man was incharge of an Indian regiment and he said to me when I was young that they guys were the friendliest people on earth but when it came to battle they were highly trained killers . I'm so glad India is on the wests side or all the work my great uncle done would have been in vain . Well done India the whole world loves you apart from Russia, China and Pakistan they will fear you 😀

I think It’s time India gets alert and start preparing for any possible attempts. Not just the army but also the people. China is nearing its end and we should focus on our preparedness. India has its own logistical issues and we must think about them too. A war for India won’t be easy either we have to be prepared for a two front war .

As an American, I would definitely support declaring war on China if they invaded India. I think the Chinese dictatorship should be careful about biting off more than they can chew.

The western media did not side with China. It reported that brave Indian soldier's who fought and overcame superior number of CCP forces had a moral and tactical victory. I feel India's neutrality on the Ukraine invasion will embolden the Chinese. Since Russia and China are allies support for Russia can be seen by the Chinese as support for them since they act in coordination as a unified block as communist countries. What India needs to fear is that China and/or Russia will cause internal or border terrorist threats through support of communist groups inside and bordering India. Just as in WWII some western countries stood by while Germany invaded Poland thinking it will not impact them was totally wrong. Totalitarian regimes must be nipped in the bud and handed defeat after defeat to stop them. Otherwise who knows if any country is safe. This is an attack on the freedoms that we enjoy today. Freedom is being held hostage just as terrorist does when they hijack a plane. We are a connected world. What affects one country affects all. I hope Indians will have peace and security through wise leaders who show strength and resolve to stop rampaging dictators who threaten world peace for the sake of our current and future generations. This is why China cannot invade Taiwan. They already have a major front on the Himalias with India. They have potential problems with Central Asian countries and Russia. If they go after Taiwan, all these others will potentially press their advantage. So, no matter how big their military is, they will not be able to cover these. In WWII the US looked at invading Taiwan, which was then controlled by the Japanese. The estimates are that it would have taken 500k troops. There were limited landing zones. In the end, they opted for the Philippines, which offered many more options for landings. China has never made an amphibious assault on anyone. Their last war, with Vietnam was a disaster. I’ve said it many times till now and I’ll keep saying it. Don’t underestimate the enemy. The “made in China” quality issue can only go so far. Even if they don’t have the quality, they have the capability for quantity. They can make as many as they need. And I’m guessing even if half their weapons work, they still have the upper hand with regards to hardware.
I wish those in dreams in India could have your cool and rational mind. China does not really want a war with India because there are many good reasons for the two old countries to co-exist.
