No synopsis for the episodes on my version either, but then I just rewatch the series from start to finish. I usually keep my iPad nearby with the IMDb app running and get the synopsis there. I think it’s usually the same text on IMDb as on HBO's streaming services.
*I'm kinda regretting I bought it: not only we no longer have that option that allows you to play each episode seamlessly, without any interruptions as you change from one disc to the next one, but I also find myself watching some bits that look as if I'm watching a regular/mediocre Blu-ray version or, much worse, a DVD or a VHS cassette: in season 2, for instance, there's a scene (I can't remember the number of the episode), in which Cersei confronts Tyrion about him sending Myrcella to Dorne; I swear to God it was as if I was watching some shitty recording from a 90s TV show on VHS; simply appalling.* *If anyone reading this has it too, I'd really appreciate if you let me know whether I'm the only victim of this betrayal or not. Thank you very much in advance!*
Hey dude, What would you say is the episodes/seasons you fell in love with after viewing in 4k? (If any) Debating this boxset (I currently have the DVD boxset)
Having not seen any of the show in 4K previously, I had purchased the blu-rays of seasons 1-5 but nothing after that, I would honestly say the first two episodes of season 1 really struck me with just how beautiful the show was in 4K. It really is one of the best upgrades I've seen. Everything is very rich and detailed. As I stated in my review, for the video I wasn't able to watch every episode of the show but I did watch key ones from the different seasons. Blackwater (season 2) and the Long Night (Final Season) are stand-outs for visual. For audio stand-out it would be Hardhome (Season 5). This is a definite recommended buy for me.

Very nice, consistent review and direct to the point.
Thank you :)

What kind of setup do you have? I honestly did not have that experience at all.
Thanks for the review!!
It’s nice to see a face giving a review instead of talking hands 🙌🏾 🏳️🌈
