Another thing that irritated me is when Oh asked "what about Jai"? He took too long to answer that and his reaction was 1 of sadness...also he did not stop seeing Jai, Jai stopped seeing him. What would he have done if Jai was actually reception to him when he confessed? Would he then break up with Oh or be with both? He told Oh he never thought of breaking up with him but he was actively engaging in an inappropriate relationship with Jai. What was his plan there? I agree that after being in a relationship for a long time sometimes you get complacent and you can like others but what defines you is how you react to these feelings . I am sure Oh also had feelings where he thought their relationship changed but he still turned down advances from others and went out of his way to be closer to Teh. The scene with Oh and his friends hurt so much because he didn't just lose his lover he also lost his best friend and I think ppl forget that. Can u imagine if Oh had no1 to lean on?
This happens so much in real life and I love that they made Oh be brave and do what was best for him.
I was thinking about that too. What he have done if Jai was like yeah I like you too. It made me think back to ITSAY. When Oh confronted him on the beach after the underwater kiss he had no plans to break things off with Tarn. He intended to just keep things as they were. He would secretly be with Oh and publicly be with Tarn. This is how Teh thinks. Oh shut that down not Teh. This time it was Jai. Teh never thinks beyond what he wants in the moment and he seems to want it all. I'm glad he finally gets to see the damage he causes. He got a pass in Part 1. Oh forgave him and accepted him but this time he needs to feel it to grow from it.
This episode like frustrates me so much!!! I actually don't mind that they broke up. It really pains me to see Oh-Aew cries this much due to Teh being unfaithful...

Because of the time jump, we cant see how teh and oh falling out of love ... unlike itsay we can really see how both of them falling in love. They were already falling apart even without Jai.. 1 of the worst thing is emotional cheating. While cheating on a whole is hurtful and disrespectful it stings different when u know the person your partner cheats with is 1. Someone you know 2. Your partner actually has feelings for the other person ( not just sex)
Jai was a bad friend however nothing he tried would have worked if Teh was honest and faithful. If you think about it Jai did simple things and Teh turned those simple things into inappropriate things. There was no kiss in the scene yet he kissed Jai twice. Not only did he lie and sneak behind Oh's back but he did it while he was there. Even after getting a 2nd chance from Oh and being told he was used by Jai, Teh still goes after Jai. At this point we have to put the blame where it belongs. I am so happy that Oh broke up with him and I hope they dont put them back together. You can see how damaged Oh self esteem and self love is and Teh is a huge factòr in that.
2 years later, watching this still hurts! I so felt for Oh 😢
I really think it was a right decision to break up for now. Teh is confused I guess and i agree with u it also may be that he is confusing his character and real life. Like we all know how doubtful and emotional person Teh is. And in this time i just want to see how Teh will grow as a person too. to be able to understand his own feelings more well.
also the end of the episode. the way Teh was on a red scooter with red helmet,while Oh Aew was wearing all blue ehen they were doing a sleepover with friends.

I think Teh in some point he really likes Jai, not bc the character, is bc his relationship with Oh-aew no communicate well. He is the kind of man hide his real feeling...
In season 1 he is that kind person. He can't really open his heart to Oh-aew, tell him to come with him to some activity that he likes...maybe Oh-aew just rejected once, and he didn't invited him next, like you don't like it and fine, I go alone...this is the terrible things that you don't let people know, you are not happy about that. He didn't like Oh-aew changing and he didn't tell him either. He just endured and long time later their relationship fade away. If you have lover but you didn't tell him how you feel, have to be alone yourself, of curse feel lonely.
Teh wants or he pursues someone that we can call "soul mate" this person in his image has the same feeling for drama, and his feeling he is not that much
likes Oh-aew I think is logical. You can blame he is cheating but I also think if a relationship has no communicate, sure it will break up...and he likes Jai is logical, he feels they have same interest, sharing, talking, communicating and close to each other in that point.
the most frustrating part is Teh actually confessing to Jai when he already has a boyfriend 🙄

And besides the kiss during workshop practice was not even scripted, in the actual show, at the last moment lights were off, the two leads don’t have to kiss, so then WHAT THE HECK is the point of that unnecessary kiss between teh and jai during the “practice”!!!and you tell me jai is doing all of that just for work!! How silly does he think we are!!! Even when ohaew confronted him, he had the nerve to treat and talk to ohaew like that like he’s some kinda of expert and it’s purely professional and ohaew doesn’t know anything!! Really!! He has some nerves!! No wonder he is single and alone, honestly do you think a guy like him could commit to a good relationship!! You are joking!!
Not one good and successful and well respected director with good reputation would train actors like this just to his own advantage!!
Edit: well, nadao is smart 😅😅, they know we are angry at jai, so after this episode, they just released the duet song by BKPP “Black Sea” well, in the show teh was looking at jai😓😓🙄🙄 but here it is actually BKPP singing out their own feelings which at least cure us a little bit off all this anger and pain, the new MV, thank goodness no jai presents🎉🎊🍾️👏

I think Teh was just confused and needing a good advice from a friend. If Jai was a good friend, he would clarify things with him. But he was never his true friend I guess. Loved that you showed emotion for both of them.
This whole episode reminds me of VIP where Park Seong-joon's mom tells him that he " Lost his world for a glimpse of passion".

There are 2 similar things but yet quite different types & they are BL and LGBTQ dramas ! Though this series has never been labeled explicit as LGBTQ by Nadao, some viewers have categorized both ITSAY & IPYTM as LGBTQ. So what is the significance of this ?
Because characters in LGBTQ dramas are intentionally made to represent reality. They have flaws & make mistakes like everyone in real life. I don’t deny that in IPYTM : the script has destroyed the image of Teh entirely. And this is what Nadao & P’Meen - the director decided to take chances. The choice was theirs, I respect that.
I cannot say for others, I can only say for myself. The first 2 episodes did not excite me as much as I had hoped for. ITSAY ended with a happy ending & I didn’t want to spend more times watching Teh & Oh-aew if there’s nothing new & unpredictable. Therefore I was so thrilled by the huge plot twist in ep 3 & pleased by the result Teh is receiving in ep 4.
Even Billkin himself described his character as a ‘competitive’ one. This type of person needs ‘challenges’ to energize themselves. So when ‘half’ of Teh’s dreams were taken by Oh-aew quitting from their so-called ‘professional adventures’ & he found the same spirit of goal pursuing in Jai instead. Easily, Teh was drawn into Jai.
I am not defending Teh. I’m just an observer who is observing IPYTM. And I’m letting it to take me to wherever the story goes. However I think the series will take me to a happy place where Teh has learnt from his mistakes & Oh-aew is gracefully mature to forgive Teh. Because that is what the main OST (safe zone) implies.
Nonetheless if the series takes me to various endings, not just always a happy one. As long as it is logical, I will be pleased as well. Like I said I am expecting the unexpected. Give me more, Nadao.☺️
I saw in an interview where Billkin mentioned that the breakup scene is one of his fav scene bc it shows how Teh respects Oh-aew’s decision and that they both grown up 😭
I keep going back to Jai's (harsh, cutthroat but truthful) admission to Oh Aew that all he did was "encourage" Teh to become the character he needed him to be. Further, Jai did not comfort Teh when everything thing crashed and burned. Teh really lost himself here and Oh Aew was understandably shattered. (Perhaps this is why Hollywood has so many divorce lawyers)
Though frankly, these are issues all couples must face. As time goes on, we do change. Can things still work with those changes, is up to the couple. I just wonder if there's a way through this experience for them to reconcile. This production has been so willing to be truthful from the beginning, we really are at a point of uncertainty that is up to the lovers we so admire. (Please Teh, don't click delete!)
I think this situation could be compared to what has happened in the entertainment business for so many years or decades Directors,casting directors,..producers etc taking advantage of the actors..because that is exactly what jai did!!!
Tah seems to be overehelmed by this new life and the attention that jai is piling on him!! It is all a novelty and as he is rather narsistic and naive
he becomes totally infatuated!! ..We know jai knew exactly what he was doing.
It is a great series because this is the reality of life..how many people have become infatuated with a work colleague.friend. neighbour because it was at that moment it was refreshing
A needed change so they thought "The grass is way greener in the next garden"
But an infatuation is not LOVE and it does not last..What the two of them had..hope will find again..

This episode make me so mad and sad, I really think that Jai " use" Teh to play the character he made but in the end it's like Jai look conserne about Teh . I love really that Oh-Aew confront the two of them , it's like" I want an answer and I don't let it go" . I think the that Oh-Aew say I think they have someone more appropriate for Teh , someone that can match to his passion and matching with him. It's my opinion it's would be fine if the two of them find someone that can be there soulmate and ending to be good friend like Oh-Aew work in marketing company and do some work for promote Teh movies .

After breaking up, it's been 4 years since I thought I could move on, but when something poke me, when I watched this EP 4, my tears flowed. It must be a scar that will never heal. It's a bad memory that I've been doing. Even if the wound doesn't hurt anymore But when I rubbed it and found a scar, it reminded me that I had been hit with something. this is life Next teach yourself If there is suffering, then don't have it again. Learn and leave everything there.

jai justifying his shitty behaviour with the fact that teh is an actor is best excuse i've heard in a series. oh aew is right in every aspect of this episode . if teh kissed an actor ,his point was valid. second there WAS NO kiss in the play. when that screen froze on teh's face for 30 secs it showed that he was looking at jai the entire time and with the bgm fading out it meant that he was focused on jai only ; until he saw oh aew. oh aew's friends were the excuse teh gave to him to support the argument that he was changing but now as we see : they are there with him and supporting him and turning out to be a support group everyone needs. teh's point of mixing acting and real life is not rare to see. i saw a video of two taiwaneese bl actors who shot a movie together. and the younger one fell for the other actor. he would cry when they were unable to meet for a few days. he was too engrosed in his character. now the older actor has wife, and a daughter and its been almost 2 decades since then. the movie was a hit and now they are to work on a project together and it is expected to be awkward on personal level (a salute to their shippers foe their patience of almost 20 years who rejoiced after hearing the news) . also teh developing feelings foe jai reminds me of a discussion on a podcast about people in relationships finding other people attractive(except their partner) . and the conclusion was that the situation was possible . after all there are so many attractive people on earth but remembering them, talking about them , and making a move were all things that will ruin your current relationship.
P.S i find it almost foolish that me, a single person is running my mind wild over relationships in a freaking drama that isn't even real and agnoring the fact that this is the first dating experience of both characters.

It took this long for ohaew to finally break up with him!! Seriously!! In real life, not so many people would be as nice as ohaew like this, he must love teh so much to endure that much!!
When ohaew finally lash out and hit the flower at him, I was so SATISFIED but also hurt for ohaew!! 😭😭 that kinda of betrayal feels a hundred times worse 😭😭😭😭

Honestly tell me, how can you guarantee that even if ohaew takes him back that, you can promise that he wouldn’t cheat again!! Right!! Some people just don’t learn, if he can give into temptation that easily the first time it shows that he really doesn’t care that much, so even if he repented and beg for forgiveness who would say that that’s won’t be a next time!! How many times would ohaew have to suffer!!
Please no more!! At this point, they ruined teh’s character, I don’t think ohaew should give him a second chance even if let’s say he gave up some roles just to get back in his good book again!! He can forgive him eventually and then move on, he definitely deserves a guy that would treat and cherish him much better, not a guy like teh!! Not anymore!! And it’s common that not all high school romance ends up successfully in the end, life can be cruel and teach both of them a hard lesson, that’s the reality!!
Life is not fairy tale drama, that has to end in happy ending, if ohaew just forgive and take him back, well it might be a satisfying ending for a show, but in real life, that’s not realistic at all, most people aren’t that forgiving when it comes to cheating and lying, trust me!!
So unless teh did something that could fundamentally change my view towards him again, I hope ohaew doesn’t take him back, he can forgive him that’s good for himself to move on but not getting back with him, I don’t think that’s a wise choice!

When he sang, I felt like he’s expressing teh’s anger towards jai, that’s why he broke the plum wine which makes it extra sad, because this same song was dedicated to jai not ohaew, while pp’s version was dedicated to teh!!😭😭😭
But support billkin as always!! His version is always more powerful but pp’s version is softer and gentle 🤗🤗😊

I am so confused about the character Tai. Is he really just a manipulator? Sometimes he is watching Teh in secret, is looking at him for a really long time. He followed him at Min 17:08. Why would he do it if he is just the instructor with manipulative and selfish intentions? For a short minute I had the thought that he maybe has feelings for Teh but is lying at him..
I think J’ai is kinda like Teh a bit but Oh-Aew caught him, so he decided to leave and do not let himself in trouble with Teh and Oh Aew relationship
I think Jai had also started developing feelings for Teh tbh, mostly because of the awkward moments between them even before Teh realized he had a crush on Jai. Maybe its me, but with regard to Jai, why would someone blush shyly when their friend of three years compliments them as Jai kept doing every time Teh compliments him? Also, during the plum wine scene, why did Jai keep looking away and acting uncomfortable when they were discussing the future? This was his friend of 3 years and not some stranger. Then when Teh said they should "try it out". If someone who is a friend said that, one would probably comeback with a smart ass comment or smack their friend on the head playfully not stare back into the friend's eyes. Like c'mon, was that only a surprised look or was he actually drawn in by Teh? Then finally, the sexual tension during the kiss "practice" scene was too intense for a play that had no actual kissing scenes. It was also unfortunately more intense than all the kissing scenes between Oh-aew and Teh combined together. With all these, I seriously don't believe Jai was not feeling it, instead I think he just realized this was a very bad idea and decided it needed to stop before things got out of hand.

@@joycehysin Exactly! While Teh's initial kiss was chaste and simple, Jai went full tiger mode on Teh with the second kiss, he was way into that kiss for it to just be his "directing style". Like no, Jai knew exactly what was going on, hence the guilty look on his face after Teh left. Not only that but the lie he told Oh about how he got Teh to get into character (l mean...why lie if you see what you did as just part of the workshop?). Even when he was called out on his lie, dude had this attitude, like "Hmm... I kissed your man, it's exactly as you saw, my style of directing..." that part was ridiculous and at the same time funny to me because of the sassy look on his face😂😂 SMH
@@joycehysin I keep thinking about the teacher and how Jai learned this "method" from her. I'm think they are kind of show the really gross cycle of manipulation that can be learned in this area. I believe she was using Jai and taught him to use Teh and all for "work" but for both it was something more. Those notes in the logbook crossed a major ethical line. Jai had to know that but he did it anyway to get what he wanted.

As much i hate Teh here, but we need to think that Teh don't have lot of experiences in love so does OhAew (i don't justify the cheating tho) They are still in the stages of experiencing first love, heartbreaks and so on. Figuring everything out at the same time trying to balance study, work and love kinda hard. But Jai is just a complete asshole, selfish and manipulative, a friend that nobody should have. Lured Teh, used him, make him more confused, selfish just for his play to be success, and don't even say sorry to both of them like just walked away like he doesn't hold responsible for any of these. Jai can't go to the deepest dungeon in hell.
