Natalie hit a grand slam on this. I love Michael Franks from the early 80's but because of today's instruments coupled with technology this version of this song has a little more bight and bottom to it. Both artist did a great job on this song for it to be about 20 years apart.
Wonderful tune with some brilliant chords, superb lyrics and arrangement, wonderful singing with skat and syncopation and you can hear every word that Natalie sings as clear as a bell. Have I overdone the superlatives? No, I firmly deny this!!!

I was very sad when on New Year's day you wake up to such terrible news. I'm going to miss you Natalie! Such a beautiful talent gone too soon. Her last release, an album in spanish is such a beautiful piece of art. RIP Natalie! I love you forever.
This is such a romantic song. I can see the couples in the audience snuggling up together as they listen. That would be the perfect thing to do when, a song as romantic as this, is being delivered by a singer as wonderful as Natalie Cole is:)
