Omg soooo beautiful. Love cob houses. They are so warm and homey. This one being surrounded by gardens makes it even more unique and lovely. Such a wonderful place Norway is.
With walkable / bikeable paths everywhere. People grew their own food, and didn't have to rely on companies for Food / Shelter / Air / Water. People could do with as they please. There are many places like this in the world that could support hundreds if not thousands of these across the countryside.
This is wonderful. They put a lot of thought into it. The only thing I didn't see, that doesn't mean it wasn't there, was whether or not they use solar for their electricity or how they get their electric. I just watched a 'Top Dome structures" and theirs was #4. Some were hotels or conf places. Some were only partial domes. I think theirs was the best.
My compliments to the artisan homebuilders on such a beautiful and functional home. I also appreciate reusing/repurposing previously owned materials. We (US) throw away/waste too many things that can/could be easily reused and/or repurposed.
There is another video of this family and their amazing home on yt. I think one of the most endearing things about them is that they changed their last name to Heartfollower. What a beautiful, intentional way to live, and to raise your children ❤️. I'm pretty much awestruck. All my love to this family.
My compliments to the family who built this most amazing home. I would happily live in a home like this :) I love the peaceful joy the home gives off and the family who live there as well:) I have Norwegian roots from both sides of my family ,perhaps that is why it appeals so much to me.:)
I am totally caught up in this video❣️ The entire home is simply gorgeous, so well thought out & beautifully made!!! Hard to believe that husband had no building experience before this! WOW! To wslk out onto balcony & pick a few grapes to eat...dream come true! I was so "involved" in this video, capturing every detail & word, that I barely breathed. I can honestly say that I find this entire home 100% PERFECT! Even heat & cooling - not easy up there I'd guess - well done! The was a shot of the dome with snow on the 🔼📐🔽 panels & I wonder what it's like to see that snow on glass from inside & still be cozy warm?!😊 Everything is beautiful ~ Wow! What a great home you've built! The woodwork & way wood is used, along with the "cob"(big fan of cob🫠) is just lovely...adds warmth, good storage (kitchen) too! All of it compliments the rest; including the decor. The 1 thing I cannot even imagine, is what it's like to live SO far North...so cold! Much darkness; guess if used to it, is OK. Alot of gardening work during growth/harvest time in greenhouse, you say? If that's the worst thing... you are truly blessed! I love working in garden & yours is very fruitful! Nibbling while working in it - yummy! I am still just re-picturing everything, smiling. Personally, I give this a 10 out of 10! Lovely family & pets too + find both of you to be quite charming & down to earth! Thanks so much for sharing & feeding my creative daydreams! Never gave anything a '10' before. One can start living different with making more homemade stuff and saving lot more, staying more in the nature, one could cut social media time and concentrate on loved ones... and much more... If we talk precisely about building homes, no, that was not what I intended cause few people could do that...
Fresh air, warm air in winter, cool air in summer all due to natural convection. I did this with plastic culverts under ground to the basement of our home years ago. Glad to see other people using this free energy system. Love the home you built for yourselves. Excellent workmanship!

10/9/22... Happy to see geodesic homes, at all. An improved version fo the ones from the late 1960s & early 1970s. I have a friend who built one in Southern, Ohio, ( in 1970) and raised his family there. It was a struggle to combine the basic building designs which are generally cubes, and squares, into a space with a rounded interior. Everything had to be custom designed to work with the "triangles" making up the dome shape. ( like opening windows) A much better design is to build the dome as a covering over a square or rectangular, conventional building.
So, so, lovely! So idyllic looking and yet it's not an easy going lifestyle, is it? You work hard but it sounds like it's worth it! Thanks for sharing.

Thanq for the video What a lovely home. Not keen on steps with gaps but it's not my home. That bathroom & shower are fantastic. Your husband is a VERY clever man to have around.
I think it's a little bit silly to build a space-age dome over a Stone Age home, but I like it! It's not the most practical or efficient combination, but it's extremely pleasing! Maybe I will do something like this if I ever stumble into a bunch of money.
Aesthetically, I think the architectural styles clash. I would either want to update the home, or alter the architecture of the dome to be more complementary to the home.
Did you know that 3 million Krone is only $300K US? And I'm not sure how this isn't practical. That dome allows for both hot and cold insulation, as well as protecting the home from elements that would break it down in all seasons.
I think it’s a pretty good deal for what you get, especially on that beautiful body of water , lush green grass and wonderful 360* view…..could do without three months of darkness, that part is definitely not for me. 🙏🏼❤️
Great stream, as always. I appreciate the level-headed approach you take to the news and the markets. A lot has changed and that's on everything but the truth is I don't even care much about bullish or bearish market anymore because Mr Richard Scote got me cover as I am comfortably making 1.5B T C monthly...
What a lovely site! The dome is so functional, the house is unique, functional and cozy. The use of repurposed wood and tiles gives the space warmth, good "feels"! Deep bow and hats off to you both. I would enjoy living there, the Northern Lights would make it perfect. Thank you for sharing 👏😊.
I'm blown away by this house. The amount of labor that went into building a cob house is incredible. For a family of six, I would have liked to see a small powder room in addition to the bathroom. Speechless! This is by far the coolest house I've ever seen. Thank you so much for not just sharing, but for loving the planet like you do. I could so live like this!
I love EVERYTHING about this! Thank you so much for sharing a tour of your gorgeous home!
Wow! This is such a beautiful and absolutely amazing build. 💞
Just retired from teaching and this video touched me greatly. Thanks from Houston TX
Cob houses are my favorite. Having one inside a greenhouse is a perfect combination. This looks like a dream come true! I absolutely love it! My words are just not sufficient to describe it. I’m just floored!
Stunning!!! What a beautiful way to raise a family! I’m simply overwhelmed with how unique your home is. I love it!!!
I try not to be jealous, but I can’t help myself. Im jealous of this couple’s teamwork, her husband’s service to his family and of the home they have built. It is SO lovely!!!
This is truly not only one of the most one of the most beautiful self built (mostly) dome homes but also exemplary display of an integrated human and nature balanced systems I have seen anywhere on the internet.
Thanks for viewing and contributing🙏. I'll share some beneficial knowledge🚀 let's Converse right away the above📞•.
very cool. you rock Jen! This was so emotional somehow. I got a tear and a chill.
2hd time I have watched this video. I see this house in my dreams. Katherine, Paul's wife.
Ich auch ❤
This is a mansion just beautiful inside and out. Love the rough woods, love all of it. Give tours inside your house makes some extra money also you could build a little cottage next to it. Rent it out as a bed and breakfast. I would love to stay one night in a place that look like this it is beautiful. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹Gifts to the lady of the house.
Honestly I think this is the most beautiful home I've ever seen
Omg soooo beautiful. Love cob houses. They are so warm and homey. This one being surrounded by gardens makes it even more unique and lovely. Such a wonderful place Norway is.
Imagine a rainy day in this house..so beautiful!
This is an incredible house. Imagine if we had houses like this all over the world.
This gives me a great idea for my home I want. Thanks for this informed video!!!
My compliments to the artisan homebuilders on such a beautiful and functional home. I also appreciate reusing/repurposing previously owned materials. We (US) throw away/waste too many things that can/could be easily reused and/or repurposed.

This would be so magical in the wintertime! It is beautiful, the home, the dome, the scenery, all of it!
I'm speechless, we should all live this way. In harmony.
What a gorgeous home! I love how they a system for everything under the dome. ❤
The lady is very peaceful.
I enjoyed her immensely.
Beautiful, I love everything about the house and location, very blessed. Hard work & positive attitude can create dreams. 🙏
I live in a geodesic wood dome.
Positively stunning! Wowed in every way.
The was a shot of the dome with snow on the 🔼📐🔽 panels & I wonder what it's like to see that snow on glass from inside & still be cozy warm?!😊
Everything is beautiful ~ Wow!
But now I must go ~ spent too much time & have some hungry, homeless dogs wondering where I am?!

This is an incredibly unique home, it's a masterpiece really. Thank you for sharing. 💞
this is the most amazing home i have seen. if this and earthship home are combined would be a dream home indeed.
Now this is differently cool. Love what they have built together. Thanks Jenna for sharing their story.👍👍❤
This is Paradise!! The garden is so beautiful, and I can totally see myself in it!! As far as the inside of the house goes, the kitchen is my absolute favorite space!!

Some people really manage to live true Dreams
🤩
Not some, just the rich folks
@@edisonchin2463 yes you have to be quite rich to build those projects. But what I was talking about is the COURAGE, we often choose to not dive into bald things because we don't believe enough... Many rich people live boring lives in super villas, those ones live fully!
@@LaCorva they certainly do have that option alright, while we poor peasants couldn't even afford paying our rent and succumb into living our vanlife "dream" .
@@edisonchin2463 yes I agree that poor people always struggle, I am not wealthy myself and I know what sacrifices and pain mean... Anyway not every dream is money-related, my opinion is about that... Off course you can't change your lifestyle that way, if we talk about lifestyle it's hard without money to invest. But I think everyone can do something even little adjustments! One can start living different with making more homemade stuff and saving lot more, staying more in the nature, one could cut social media time and concentrate on loved ones... and much more...
If we talk precisely about building homes, no, that was not what I intended cause few people could do that...
wonderful, congratulation! hope you all may enjoy that place of special beauty for a long time in peace!
So beautiful! What a peaceful place. I can see myself and my family living in a dwelling like this! ❤️🙏
This is absolutely stunning 😍
Absolutely beautiful and a brilliant build ❤️❤️
Fresh air, warm air in winter, cool air in summer all due to natural convection. I did this with plastic culverts under ground to the basement of our home years ago. Glad to see other people using this free energy system. Love the home you built for yourselves. Excellent workmanship!
This is one of the coolest homes I've ever seen! I've long loved earthships, but this is an even cooler design using many of the same principles. AMAZING! One question the video didn't answer that I am curious about. How do they pollinate all their fruits and vegetables? Do they have a hive in the dome?
This is one of the most amazing self buil houses I have ever seen and of course the dome green bubble is so cool!
Ok I'm going to Norway! You think they would adopt me? This is the type of place I want to live in! Absolutely beautiful 😍
You could just beg them for the blueprints and build an exact replica of what they did, albeit with a few personal touches. That's what I would do.
You mean us ! Adopt us. Lol.
hahaha.....I think there are a lot of us who might feel the way you do!
@@Tyme_flies Can I go too?😊
Me too! Sigh ....
Incredible home - looks like Eden would look!
Wow! Organic excellence! This house has a very nice flow and with all the plants it makes me want to live there because I'm a plant freak 😜 Beautifully done and in a beautiful place. It is like a dream 💕
This is by far the coolest tiny home I’ve seen!! I love that it’s surrounded by the green house!! Very nice house! So sustainable!!
Everyone shows Norway in the summer. Show it in the winter!
Edit: the blooming trees while everything outside is snow covered is just mind blowing.
There is no sun above the arctic circle for 3 months in winter, the rest of winter there is to little sun for anything to grow.
I am completely in love with this. ❤️
This was absolutely stunning ❣️
I would love to have a home like that!!
amazing home. Thank you for caring about Earth and the environment. Lovely home, thanks for sharing.
Beautiful home
It's absolutely amazing and beautiful
This was so amazing to watch. Beautiful well thought out home.
OMG...you're so very lucky to have the energy, strength, patience, and money to build this amazing place!!!
basically, they live in a terrarium. that is so freaking awesome
This is the best home I have ever seen. Ever.
We are so poor here in America. Stuck in apartments while people are living beautiful lives all over the world. This is incredible ❤❤❤❤❤
They are living beautiful lives in America as well, moving to homestead’s.
Well, to be fair, there are people living in small apartments all around the world, too. This is truly exceptional.
Not many places in America will let you build this. New Mexico maybe.
Step OUTSIDE.. and there is a whole Beautiful World out there.. just WAITING FOR YOU.. as a small begining look at the millions of stars smiling & winking at you .. and follow their call.. to the wide open countryside of America.. aka USA...
YOU HAVE TRAPPED YOURSELF IN.. POOR URBAN USA.. YOU WILL HAVE TO .. GET OUT..!!!
Speak for yourself. I have a house and a front and back yard.
Buckminster Fuller would be very laudatory of this fabulous organic home / habitat. Beautiful Family too.
I love it!
Thank you very much for sharing this. I actually noticed my heart rate increase watching this. All of my friends laugh because I have literally dreamt of building this . Absolutely fantastic and beautiful. What a thoughtful way to enjoy your life.
Do you have an address or website to the company which is build dome homes?
Thanq for the video
What a lovely home.
What would be a more efficient way?
Did you know that 3 million Krone is only $300K US? And I'm not sure how this isn't practical. That dome allows for both hot and cold insulation, as well as protecting the home from elements that would break it down in all seasons.
Wow wow wow ! I really enjoyed learning and watching !!!

So half a million US dollars ... you basically have to be rich then ...
I think it’s a pretty good deal for what you get, especially on that beautiful body of water , lush green grass and wonderful 360* view…..could do without three months of darkness, that part is definitely not for me. 🙏🏼❤️
500k is the average rate of a house in the US…
@@basicallyno1722 So basically you need to be rich 🤪
Wow, fantastic idea, great to see it become reality, Norwegians are so smart.
Great stream, as always. I appreciate the level-headed approach you take to the news and the markets. A lot has changed and that's on everything but the truth is I don't even care much about bullish or bearish market anymore because Mr Richard Scote got me cover as I am comfortably making 1.5B T C monthly...
Through whats app ⏬⏬
Spectacular! Outside of its rustic beauty, this is an important example of sustainable and ecological architecture. Breathtaking naturescape as well.
That's the coolest cob home I have ever seen.
Such a gorgeous, cozy home. Just beautiful 😀
beautiful, the man is a great builder!

Where does the daughter sleep?
The robo mower doing its never-ending job across the landscape was hilarious.
Impressed by mother's yoga skills. She's so strong.
Their English is quite good.
Thank you for bringing this incredible home to us.🕉️

Wow, Love the house. Perfect example of nature lovers dream house! Awesome idea and execution. Great job.

What a MAGNIFICENT home that you have created here ! It is most inspirational how you have created a living space that is so "in harmony" with the natural surroundings. Just Beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.
Magnificent. I've always loved geodesic domes, and this combination is simply breath-taking.
