The trick at 4:05 where you hold the shift key down to drag a bone without affecting the other child bones does not work in Cartoon Animator 4; it only works in version 3 (CrazyTalk Animator). In the new version, you have to hold down "E" now instead of shift, and then you can drag the bone without affect child bones. It is not well documented, and it took me WAY too long to search for this information (eventually found the answer deep in an obscure forum post). They really need to update these tutorials for Cartoon Animator 4.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to setup my own character from photoshop to import psd for animation in this program, because all the videos only talk about their preset characters.
3:20 I can't move any sprite with the Transform Sprite Tool. My sprites (bounded by green box) will oddly snap to distant locations around the character. Transform Bone and Transform Part tools both work fine, however. I am using transparent PNG exports from Ai to replace the sprites on Human Motion Bone_S.

All other than the back option, the mask editor is the only other option that is available. We bought the software package for our company so we can do little presentation projects here and there. We bought the product in a promotion and it came with three bonus packs that I installed for CTA 3. Thank you!
does the interface comes only in white?. or can we tweak it and or it is taking the windows UI color..i ask because i can´t handle white or bright colors . thanx in advance.
CTA has its own rigged character base you can use to start. If you use PSD and follow the instructions on how to layer your folders, then CTA will automatically grab that PSD and convert it into its rigged character base.
but is possible creating new characters that isn't exists in the programm? or i must creating animation only with this characters? thanks for the answer. :)

Mostly likely you turned off the Content Menu. Just go up to the TABS on top, go to WINDOWS, and then re-select the CONTENT MENU so that it turns on again.
Is there any way to include dynamic moving parts in characters like hair, tail, hanging clothes like they do in adobe character creator? Because i think this is the only thing important missing in crazy talk animator 3. Anyone please comment on this.

At the moment, you are unable to change the UI layout of CTA3. Its White by default.

@@BakerImageGroup 360 Head is just another way to create characters. Lip-sync does not require mocap. It is an embedded feature in CTA.
