My favorite one is lawless lawyer his personality was amazing especially since his main priority is protecting Jae I and he doesent care at all about himself all he cares about his Jae I, he is willing to protect her now matter what
He is an excellent actor he portrays his role with passion I have watched his dramas through Netflix..but seems he is underated in Korea...excellent acting need more projects this year hoping for it to watch in the future and can t wait...
What? Did you say underrated? That's hard to believe, since he's very good. He is one of the actors who can really make me cry (the others being Joo Ji Hoon and Seo Kang Joon). I was quite amused by his Latin in Hotel Del Luna (Choi Woo Shik and Ahn Sung Ki had excellent Latin in The Divine Fury. I pray in Latin and go to Latin Mass, so I can easily get what they are saying), but was PO'd at the writer for not going into straight Latin for the exorcism. Still, he was very good. Not only are his action scenes top notch, so is his acting.
Actually i heard that he is well-known for his legend become player in circuss, sorry i forget the name of film, amd i am sorry if my english is so bad, and he won many of awards
Jonella Veizu It is actually not that he is underrated.. It is just that romantic comedy is famous nowadays and Lee Joon Gi don't do romcoms. But despite of that, he is still very well respected by many. Iljimae and Time Between Dog and Wolf are 2 of his best past works that showed his acting prowess may it comedy, drama or action. He is really one of the best and most versatile actor not only in SK but in the world. It's just that romcom actors are famous because the genre is lighter compared to Lee Joon Gi's drama.. Melodrama and action. 😉😊

I'm surprised you didn't include "Two Weeks." What I like and hate about his roles in Two Weeks and Scholar Who Walks the Night is that his character deals with someone very innocent (his daughter in Two Weeks and Seo Jin in Scholar). When this happens, it is so refreshing to see the interaction; however, I hate it because I end up crying in certain scenes (In Two Weeks, the daughter whose death he tried to force on his pregnant girlfriend greets him on his birthday with a message thanking him for bringing her into the world. In Scholar, this innocent child who has such a pure heart despite being a descendant of an evil vampire asking him to take her blood for his final battle. His acting was excellent and reminded me of the aforementioned scene in Two Weeks.). And if those two scenes made me cry, the scene in Scholar that had Jin guessing the reasons he kept her beside him and his answer that whatever it was, his reason was the third, brought a smile to my face. He, the mature guardian vampire dealing with her innocence was such a sweet scene. So I would choose his roles in Two Weeks and Scholar as my favorites.
What a great review you did there! I would agree that Two Weeks is a good drama too. It's really difficult to just choose 5 out of all of his dramas because all of them are great. I'll do better on choosing next time. 😊

But Iljimae touched me in a different way because of the sacrifices made by the noble biological parents of Iljimae and, then later, by his poor, adoptive father - all done for the survival of their son, who became 'Iljimae'. And LJG brought Iljimae to life with his amazing acting prowess, as always. Wonderful, touching, and captivating family drama!
