But F2P have some advantage as well. They just need to earn gold by finding and selling unique items and participating in CWs and Red vs Blue events in which they can buy upgrade cards at the NPC in the marketplace which is quite expensive.

Upgrade cards can be bought thru the moving shopping truck at the marketplace but its quite expensive so some F2P players participate in CWs and Red vs Blue events or hunt for unique finds like refines, crafting materials, Black Dragon, Elf, Dragon Claw, Tiger Claw and Thor sets to sell to earn gold.
