I'd even go as far as to say, Cobra Kai only got made because of How I Met Your Mother! Barney's adamant stance throughout the show that Johnny was the victim of the Karate Kid really cemented the idea in mainstream audiences. Then getting Zabka to appear a few times on the show was brilliant.

The show gave the general idea of Kobra Kai wider appeal to audiences in a weird pop culutral way and somebody had the guts to actually try it and they and we have been rewarded for it's success. It's not Emmy award winning television but it's fun and great for certain demographics. Great brand IP to have.
I have zero faith in sonys super hero stuff. And honestly the trailer looks like more of the same. A drop of lions blood falls into his wound?! Thats horrible. Didnt Kraven get his abilities from a potion? They should gone that routre. I like Aaron Taylor Johnson so hopefully im wrong and its good. But im not holding my breath. Honestly sony should just give it up and sell thier hero IP.
Great show as always but John's take on Superman on the small screen that It Cheapens The Brand of Superman I don't agree with and it's not a great take. Superman has worked so well on the small screen with shows like The Adventures of Superman , Smallville and Superman & Lois. In the modern era he has worked well on the small screen in live action than the recent films and that's coming from someone who liked parts of Man of Steel. I don't disagree with John said but for me Superman in recent years has been handled better on TV than in the films.
I absolutely love cobra kai I gotta say its one of my favourite series in recent years along side stranger things and what an amazing journey it has been its a bit bitter-sweet that this fantastic series is now ending but I'm very much excited to see the last season and how the story is going to wrap up can't wait to see it
When I rewatched dawn of the apes i felt the titles actially make more sense now in the order theyre in. In dawn the ending with the literal dawn / sun rising after the long night and koba’s death the apes return to his side and get ready for another war hits hard for me.
There are plenty of great black comic book characters. Give them attention. Bring them to the big screen instead of courting controversy and being lazy by race-bending white characters.
As talented as Chris Pratt is, he neither has the vocal timbre nor the droll attitude / sarcastic delivery of the late, great Lorenzo Music who voiced Garfield in the cartoon series and specials of the 80s - 90s. Frank Welker voicing the lasagna obsessed tabby for 52 episodes of Cartoon Network's "The Garfield Show" gave it his best effort too, but this version? ... Enh,.. hard pass.
Sorry but you guys are WAY OVERHYPING D&W. This was the exact same way Dr Strange 2 was overhyped where everyone & there GMA are showing up,but let’s be honest theres gonna be 5 secondary characters who are gonna be in this & professor X again.
