The footage of them capturing the "made for" line... that is my favorite type of songwriting. Back when I was writing a lot with my friends, my best lines came from them just playing the chords over and over again while we shot melodies out, and the best lines came from the gibbering or instinctual words that accompanied the melody. It came out naturally because the feeling was somewhere deep inside, and finally found a way out musically.

They seem like such down to earth kind people. So happy for both their success. Such talented young people ❤
I love what she said about loving her own music, you should love what you do in every aspect of it
I love her so much and Finneas so rare to find and have two siblings help each other and grow as an artist.
It's incredible how Billie has evolved a lot, everything she does becomes incredible, her songs are like feelings, and her songs are my therapy.
How in sync they were at 2:00 😭💕
They're so talented. Loved this interview
So neat to see a little of their process, it gave me chills 🙌
how i love them both... and the little studio video was so cute dude litterally i wanted to be there with them while they are making music.
Jimmy is such a class act. He low key made sure Phineas knows he is equally as important.
Love the joke "you have one stage name you screwed yourself up😂".
Ya we love you too big bro.
Billie looks fabulous! I love how real she is with her style and chewing her gum lol love her
I’m a big Billie Eilish fan and also a Finneas big fan, he is one of the finest modern composers.
I miss their interviews. 2 of my favorite people.
Did anyone notice at the very beginning when Billie and Finneas were introduced Billie did not walk right to Jimmy to give her brother a chance to shake Jimmy's hand first. But, her brother does not want to upstage her and instead remained behind her until she greeted Jimmy first. These siblings were raised right. Damn !! And they wear sneakers to interviews. I love them !!!!!!!
Their bond and dynamic is so genuine.
Ah, "dynamic". Wonder where you heard that word. Could it from be the pop singer who you adore? Surprised you didn't throw in a "literally" to try and appear a smart millennial (a contradiction in terms).
@@ericjohnston591Do you have a personal reason for hating her, or just because?
If you watch Billie on that carpool show you get an ideal of how amazing she is as a person. Even though she’s famous and wealthy her family is truly humble. Billie lives with her family in her childhood home it’s nothing fancy but she takes you into her home and shares what her life’s been like and where she and her brother make music. It’s a choice of hers to be surrounded by her family and that just shows she’s true to who she is ❤ her family is her support system so she loves having them around on tour. She’s amazing inside and out!
My love for them is bigger every day
These two are the coolest
I knew billie, I knew FINNEAS
But now that I know they’re siblings, it all MAKES SENSE
I adore both of them! So psyched to learn that FINNEAS sings too. What gifts they are. And thank you, Jimmy, for letting them share the process and sharing your genuine excitement for them. ❤❤❤
First time I'm hearing from Finneas. Seems like a cool guy.
I’ve learned about of so many great musical artists watching Jimmy. Finneas is now on my Spotify. Thanks Jimmy!
Its so crazy howtalented thesetwo are!I could cry watching them, always!
I’ll never get enough of Billie and finneas
I love your work Billie ❤
A trashy day is always a good inspiration for creativity
I cracked up when Jimmy mentioned Donny and Marie! I'm old enough to remember when they had their own TV show. Billie and Finneas are a wonderfully talented sister - brother team!
I love the brother and sister relationship even when they’re working togetherness in their music
Damn I do love this sibling duo. Talented af and its honestly a crime if anyone ever disrespects them
This song will be a classic after many ages or generations leave it to the roadio stations and as a song with staying powers to be replayed again and again.
They say they wrote that song in 2 hours. Don't be fooled. It took only 2 hours because they create music and songs and lyrics 6 hours a day, every day, since age 6 or so. On top of that, they have real genius level talent.
Ok
Plus their mom is an actress and dad a musician
@@D0vin00no 🤦🏻♀️ they were both 2 failed extra actors, not actors .. but extra .. they also risked to lose their house .. both knew as to play instruments and their mother as to write a song. Her mother was their “teacher” . But Finneas learned to produce thanks to internet
And? 😂 this is normal if you are an artist it’s their job every artist does that
@@hoy68290 No, not "every artist." Also, being an artist is not a job.
The way she wanna clear what she said it’s hilarious 🤣 ❤❤
For folks who aren't stagehands, "carps" aren't just actual carpenters. They're basically laborers. Basically, anything that isn't rigging, audio or lighting is handled by the carps. They do a lot.
One of the most beautiful songs you will ever hear. I simply can’t listen to it and not shed a tear. It is perfect.
These two musicians are the Lennon and McCartney of this generation. No question of that in my mind.
I love watching them grow up. Great artists for sure
I love the fact that Billie loves her own music and actually listens and appreciates the hard work that goes into her own artistry.
Have you noticed her sarcasm when he told her "it's just like having a baby!". Love you Billie!
