- Today we look at the AstroAI Cordless Tire Inflator / Portable Air Compressor. This is a powerful yet portable tire inflator or air compressor. This tire inflator can fill up a tire from totally flat to full in just a few minutes as I will demonstrate. It has a few interesting features such as it being a dual power source tire inflator. You can use it with the included 20V battery making it a cordless tire inflator. You can also plug it in to your 12V DC power source and use it that way if you want. It has a convenient, compact size and a comfortable ergonomic shape. It brings all the accessories that you will need for inflating tires, balls, flotation devices, or anything else. It also brings a convenient carrying bag and the air hose is very long giving you easy access to anything you need to inflate. Watch the video fully as I demonstrate how this unit works.

Thanks for Watching.
Thanks for the info, I already bought one and wanted to learn about it before use. Your video did the trick, thank you again
Same reason I'm here. Just opened it up. Bought for my wife's new ride.
lol same here
I just ordered two of these from Amazon and got $30 off from the provided code!
What was the code??
I just bought one and thanks for the thorough review!
Thanx for reviewing it ,
Could u tell me how accurate the pressure it becomes after inflating ???
i own this tire inflator and my biggest problem is that it gets hot fairly quickly, my son's vehicle front tires were very low like 20 psi from 30 and after the first one was up to psi the unit was cooking so had to wait like 10 minutes to cool off and then do the other tire but it will get the job done.
Thanks, it's good to get that kind of info.
Thank you for making this video. Very informative.
I bought this air compressor and didn’t know how to use right out of the box. Found ur video, and boom, got it working. Thanks man.
Great review and demo. Thank you!
Very well done. Covered all the basic info us guys want without any unnecessary bullshit. Thanks
I took his advice and ordered. WOW! What a great purchase. Subscribed and liked. #respect
Doing gods work
Good review, a fuse came with the air compressor, but could not find a place to add the fuse . Make double sure your connection
is really tight or your unit will go on and off quickly. Most people will not let their tire pressure get too low, say you are down 5 llbs, about 2 minutes
running will bring you up to say 32 lbs.
Great video ❤❤
Where dose the fuse go?
It shows it at the 4:00 mark. It goes in the 12V adapter. In the plug in part of it.
Is there a reset or something? I pop it on my tires and it registers at 0. I tried everything, charged the battery and still doesn’t work.
tart the car so the alternator is charging the battery in the car while you are using your tire inflator connected to the cigarette lighter.
What an excellent video. Thank you. Very professionally done and thorough. Just subscribed to your channel
I bought this and found that the instructions that come with it were lacking, so your demonstration was very helpful.
How fast does it inflate using the 12v port?
Is there silent or Low noised inflators? The sound makes horrible.
Look through my automotive videos. I have done several inflator reviews. You can check and see which one you like best.
Wanted to use this to fill airsoft pistol mags and grenades to 120psi or so. Very low volume, just high pressure. How do you think it’d do?
You should be fine if it is within the PSI limit of the unit. Otherwise it will stop working at it's max pressure. If it's less than 160 you should be OK.
@@ModernDIYProjects oh yeah, it’s like 130psi MAX or the valve blows out for safety. I just wasn’t sure if it’d actually get that high in reality
Just received my Autder air pump identical looking yours just now days its 21V not 12V. One other thing that's different is the air pressure settings are pre set. Car tires are set at 36PSI and Bicycle tires are pre set at 60psi? I would have preferred to still have a manual setting like yours? Guess people were blowing up tires not setting the right PSI so they took that functionality away?
Too bad you didn't inflate a bicycle tire. With a Presta and Schrader valve. Other than that, excellent video.
It's not so entirely good if you have a flat at night and you live in a apartment it's way to loud!!! 🙉
at least this is light weight and can stay in the car for when its needed. The weather got cold and my tires are down a few pounds but I really dont want to drag out the heavy compressor this should do nicely instead thanks.
very good unit
Where does the fuse go
How to connect…
Could this replace my scuba tanks? I'm trying to save money. 😳😂🤣
Can you make a video on how to repair a motor surge?
I am looking for an inflator or compressor that can go up to 150 psi because I’m using it to compress air for a bait cannon used for surf fishing what is the best portable compressor or inflator and/or is there a propane powered compressor available
Maybe Milwaukee M18 might be better for you, as it does things very fast if you are doing 150 PSI.
had to mute the sound during inflation or go crazy
What I want to know is did you get all 9 ft of adapter cord & plug crammed back inside of it after having it all stretched out?
Sure. You just have to wind it up tight and it fits back in.
I bought one of these for my son for Christmas. I cheated and tried it out. Got within 2lbs of preset number, then display went crazy and it shut off.
They did send me another one after a misunderstanding.
I had an issue which turned out to be operator error, and the company sent me a new part anyway! Great customer service!!
good one to0 cheers sir did the batteryt go dead after 1 tyre
Would be nice to see how many tires it can fill on one charge of the 20V battery.
It didn't eat up that much battery filling up this one completely empty tire. I would think it can handle all 4 tires with no trouble. Of course, I doubt anyone will have 4 completely flat tires that they need to fill.
@@ModernDIYProjects Thx
@@leo.girardi They advertise 6x 185/70R14 tires on a single charge, 15x motorcycle tires, or 42x bicycle tires.
@@ModernDIYProjects I've got one of those new fangled e-bikes. A couple times a week I like to make sure it's topped off to 35 psi.
I have a charger on my garage shelf that's meant to run off a cigarette lighter, but I've got an ac to dc transformer I run it though. It works ok but it takes as long to fool around with the power cords as it does to inflate the tires. Do you think this one would be suitable for me or am I better off with something a little bigger that just plugs directly into an a/c outlet?
@@gregp74 This has plenty of power and is cordless so I don't see any problems for your usage.
Just imagine what would've happen if the Egyptians could've had this technology and forget to tell anybody.
🤯
The air nozzle keeps popping off the valve stem of the tire then the air comes out it won't stay attached. What do I do?
You need to push it on harder so it seats fully, then pull down the spring loaded clamp. That should hold it in place. Otherwise you have a non standard sized valve stem and you may need to wrap some electrical tape around the valve stem so it will clamp down fully.
Thank you
How has the battery fared after a year? I have an air hawk pro & after 13 months the battery doesn’t hold its charge.
No problem so far. Lithium batteries can be hit or miss as far as quality goes. One bad battery cell and the whole thing is bad.
some sellers have a year or more warranty on battery...check with seller. Or you have to buy a new one as they may expect them to last only a year.
Looks identical to my Witlight....coincidence???
A lot of these products are mass produced and then each seller puts their own labels on it. Very possible it's the same product with a different name.
I bought one as I am fed up with the TPMS coming on every winter.
right
I bought one without thinking about HOW LONG it takes. Nobody seems to be mentioning the length of TIME it takes.
How about trying it on a real vehicle tire like my f250 at 80 psi. Does it have a timed cut out... or a heat shut off? It would be good to know if you really have a real winner or not. Thanks for the info...
I didn't want to drop a tire on a real vehicle down to zero PSI because I was afraid I would de-bead the tire (and possibly damage the tire). That would be bad. That's why I did it this way. It says that it can run for 20 mins without shutting off. I haven't had to go that long yet.
What is the bar and kpa for?
Units of measurement just like PSI
Is it comparable with DeWalt batteries?
It looks to be compatible with Makita batteries.
Thanks!
is it compatible with dewalt battery?
It may be, but I don't have any Dewalt batteries to test definitely.
I love mine!
