LOVE digital readers for same reason, Erin!!! I retired my reader and use the app on my phone. It’s fabulous because I always have my phone with me and one less thing to carry.

Hi Erin 👋😘😘😘😘
First to post! Love you ladies and especially my neighbor Erin, but Friends sucks.
I didn't comment after this show. I wanted to, but I needed to calm down. I've enjoyed watching you, but... Charissa you have fallen for the intellectual fallacy that "Romance" is not a valid form of literature. Romance is the largest selling genre of all books. It supports all the other genres. It is the only genre written for women and, largely, by women. I write historical romance under the pen name Ella Quinn. I'm a USA Today bestselling author several times over. I also have a BA and MS is international politics specializing in Soviet Insurgency into Third World Countries, taught the senior seminar in Foreign Policy at a university as well as other classes including Western European Political Systems and Comparative totalitarian Systems. I went to law school when I realized that my specialty was ending. I was a military lawyer and the advisor to the local Green Beret battalion commander as well as the prosecutor for the military community I was assigned to. After 20 years practicing law, at 58 I needed to do something different and started writing. The vast majority of historical romance writers have at least one advanced degree. Most have more. We range from doctors and lawyers to college professors at Harvard and Duke. Because romance is written for women and by women it has been denigrated for hundreds of years. At first it was because people thought it gave young women too many ideas about what a husband should be back when most marriages were arranged and love matches were considered to be vulgar. Although, that is no longer the case, people still denigrate the genre mostly because it's dominated by women. I suggest you pick up a romance from a well known published author and read it. Erin, you have nothing to be ashamed of. Read romances and enjoy them.
