I can't believe I am going to defend Maple Leafs fans but I am. Listening to Joe Bowen on the broadcast complaining about how quiet Leafs fans are is not fair to them. Earlier in the broadcast they read the stat that The Leafs are 9-17 at home during the playoffs during this era. Now 9-18. Last season they were 1-5 at home. No wonder the fans are quiet. They are scared to death!

As someone who's had done of concussions i can confirm migraines are debilitating....you cant think, you want open your eyes, your head feels like its gonna explode and the only thing you can do to make the pain go away is for yourself to sleep

Hard to perform in big moments when all you ever hear is negativity and “you can’t do it” etc. other teams feel the OWE their fans that extra oomph, that little extra life in their legs, playing with confidence and playing to win. Our players are playing in a constant state of negativity, dumping on them and worried about being crucified for one mistake. We do it to ourselves. How could ANYONE excel like that? We don’t pick our players back up, dust em off and pump them up. Make them feel like superstars that cant do wrong. All we do is “oh first shot went in, skys falling everyone sucks fire them all” who the HECK can focus on being their best, let alone care remotely about pleasing the “fans”? It’s a recipe for failure. Always will be

@@tobiasfrost86 I know the track record hasn’t been good. But having living through the Leafs 80’s, it’s been nice to have a team that has kicked ass in the regular season. Getting no where in the playoffs has stung one too many times though. But we have just about had it with the overpaid core. And it’s time for management, coach and Marner to hit the road.
