I understood that stop loss is kind of useless for long term investor who invests for more than 1-2 years, but what about short term investors. People who invests for 15-20 days or 1-3 months. Will stop loss be useful for them?

I don't agree stop is very important in the these days .. these people was giving rain industry buy calls when stock was at 450 above Level now the is around 100 many people has lost they wealth and currently there is no sign of reverse..
if ur company is good and has no hidden secret, and loan amount is under control then u dont need to fear,environment do affect stock price,best example is soft bank where u see price fall below 99 percent but it rose back

Sir today I saw your video about using or not using stop loss while investing and accordingly it was concluded by saying that stop loss cannot be used for investing due to high volatility in long term.
But if I bought a stock for 100/- per share and I realized that the stock may either fall to a price below 50/- in long term but can also be increased to 200/- so can I use stop loss by putting stop loss at may be 70/-.
I hope you would help me out with this.

Stop loss makes no sense if we select a valuable Bluechip Company for Long Term Investment.. Conclusion does matter
Just like yes bank 😂😂😂.... If u choose a valuable company why should it correct more than 20%... It means your point of entry is wrong... Stoploss can save your capital to a large extent... Say if u put a stoploss of 15%, even if u dont trail it, u invested 10 lac... In the worst case you will loose, 1.5 lac... U still got 8.5 lac... 85% of ur capital is saved... U won't regret... Stoploss is to ensure ur decision is right... It will tell u when u were wrong, stock was not right or entry was not right...
If possible please start making videos for good stocks which can be purchased next day
