Same question bro.. Half the energy of what we are giving in CA will be enough to crack CFA.. Ratta maar + Chillar salary+not enough opportunity.. Reputed mid sized firms in Kolkata exploit articles for 2000/month.. A daily wage labour earn 400-700 per day.

Age is not a matter or basis of determination to opt for a course if that course doesnt have any age barrier. However , for CA , you shall have to do articleship (full time) for 3yrs (now 2 yrs) under A practicing CA, after clearing Level 2. So if u are working somewhere, ull have to opt out and work in a CA firm as a trainee with a nominal stipend. So according to me that can be a matter of concern.

In INDIA CFA is not worth! Capital market and money market in India does not grow as compared to other countries in the world. For clarence after CFA L3 after putting too much afford and time the compensation is just peanuts. I know so many friends who cleared CFA L3 with CA they just earn 28 to 30 Lac per year. Now day any IT engineer who have 5-to-7-year experience can earn easily.
    so, think before any act.

Your experience and skills are what actually matters, you can get 5-6 lakhs after clearing level 1. But if you clear level 3 you can expect anywhere around 20 lakhs (only if u have work experience of about 3 years). It takes 3-4 years to clear CFA. As much as a bachelor's degree which can be done along a job or undergraduate course.
