Anyways, last date for applying access scholarship has passed it was 24 feb 2024. The second window will reopen in oct now.

I wrote an essay the last window but I was registered for an exam at that time so my application got rejected straight away after seconds of submitting it. My question is should I write a new essay now or continue with the same as the last one as it was not submitted actually? I am not registered for any exam now.

Scholarship award completely random hota hai i guess, no criteria is needed. It'ss like lottery system allotment. And i don't know ye undersubscribe wala data kaha se aata hai bcoz lakhs of students apply and mushkil se hi milta hai kisi ko........... Guys just use it to get more time for payment of your original fee...... Bcoz it's easy to get a renowned/in demand IPO but not the cfa scholarship.

Hi @The Valuation School, I have a doubt. If someone applies for access scholarship in the second window of 2024 (Sept-Oct ) and gets access scholarship, if the decision comes by 15th Dec, would they be able to somehow register for the Feb 2025 attempt? Because the normal registration deadline would have already passed, so do scholaship holders have special option to register?

Sir if we are awarded the scholarship what will be the time period given to us for enrolling into an exam session and making payment or when does the scholarship expires?
Scholarship is valid for one year and if you are awarded with the scholarship they will mention in the email itself on which exams you can appear
You also need to give 18 % GST , so 1.18 to that .
Sir do we have to upload the income statements for access scholarship ??

I think they have set a limit according to the funds available to them, eg agar cfa k pas 10crore ka fund h schoarship k liye but applicants are worth of 11crores then the excess applications get rejected and also the selection of accepted applications is on fifo basis upto the the limit of 10 crores reached..
I also think so its FIFO basis. Thats the reason I applied it on the day the scholarship begin 24th jan

No if you are granted the access fee, enrolment fees is waived off you just have to pay usd300 for registration of exam

yes you can, i am in the very same situation, so i mailed to the cfa institute, and they replied that you can apply for the scholarship this year regardless of whether you had applied earlier or not

Sir agar hedge fund manager Banna hai to kya kare mai cfa level 1 me hu and forex me trade bhi karta hu technical charting pura aata hai monthly avg 7-10% nikal leta hu
First of all forex is illegal in India
Secondly Hedge funds are very difficult to open or get into
If you are serious about hedge funds then clear all levels of CFA and try for a premium Business school (preferably IIM ABC).
After that your journey will be first joining Investment bank or AMC as either front end analyst or equity research analyst.
The equity research path might lead you to manager roles
And if you have the skills to make 7-10% per month then continue doing the same, enjoy compounding instead of going for such rat race
