I’ve been fascinated with Brian’s guitar and his technique since i heard it in Queen, Very different from other rock guitarists. While it’s true that every guitarist is unique , in Brian’s case he has a guitar that no one else has. The unique build and mechanism, electronics, how the pickups were wired and fitted with epoxy, choice of amp , treble booster, Deaky’s own home made amp etc gave him such a richness in sound and style that to this day he really is incomparable.
@@TheRealityfades you’re right, the Deacy amp was used mostly for guitar orchestrations in the studio. The Fairy Feller’s Master Stroke, Procession and God Save The Queen are prime examples of the sound it produced.
@@sierrajade7875 Not sure they are Sambas. Amazon sell Sambas, but they are trainers or 'sneakers' - not the high top 'boots' Freddie wore at the Wembley gigs. I think a retro shop might be the only way to get hold of them.
@@SebastiaanFranken Can you imagine having to keep two echoplexes maintained for this?! Lmfao. I actually prefer the echoplex tone. Nice and modulated.
@@SebastiaanFrankenno, he did switch to digital on the 80s the Cornish pedalboard he used since 1982 had delays, also in the program starlicks he says that he uses digital delays 1983
Brian may is a total rock god and the best guitarist in my opinion

The Deacy amp as I understand was only used in studio for overdubs and such.

Не просто так их свёл всевышний!!!
The best 7 minutes and 14 seconds of my life
My God he plays the guitar so good he could play blindfold
Brian May makes the guitar actually speak, like no other. ♥️
He makes it sing! The way it blends with Freddie's voice, that's the magic.
The Gituar was out of tune because of the wet weather. Still a great solo.I love your work Brian pure class.
I’m surprised he played in tg3 rain with all that equipment.
*the
Brian & his Red Special are phenomenal. Greatest guitarist ever.
curse the one person that disliked this. shame
Oh dont mind those
They disliked it bc its too good
How LONG is that cable lol???
Wil Roberts Brian always walked from one side of the stage to the other when doing long solos. 😃❤️
If he was using Pete Cornish's rig at the time, it was a 100ft long cable :P
Not quite as long as Brian's hair when he's just got out of the shower.
Mine is sixty feet...
Brian May very good guitar

Wow, wouldn't it get super hot with those stage lights literally inches away from you?
Anybody know where Brian and Freddie got their boots and what they are? Can you still get them?
4:00 I could listen to that for hours. Death bed riff!
Not boots! Sneakers! They're Adidas Sambas. If you don't like the grey suede, Adidas Superstars have a similar effect.

There were high top sambas in the 80s! Definitely check vintage shops. His were discontinued, but they're out there somewhere
