This is a long walk and you really get to see what regular living is like in this central part of the city.

The longest part of our walk today is walking south on Fitz Roy, named after a mountain in Patagonia on the Argentinean border with Chile.

What do you guys think of this core Buenos Aires barrio area? A place you are interested in? How was the barrio walk?

Right? Too cold for me too. Funny because not long ago that would have been ideal for me.
Its not always cold, in the summer it gets hot.
This part of the city looks more like "Chacarita" than "Palermo Hollywood".

Es tan seguro o insegura como cualquier ciudad capital . Yo grabe mas de 130 videos, nunca me robaron. Pero de todas manera cuidese porque camina por lugares no tan residenciales. Tambien comparado con muchas otras ciudades BA es un paraiso, de las capitales con menor indice de criminalidad de america. Buen video !!! , le recomiendo caminar por Av Santa Fe
En realidad no evito ir a ningún lado por cuestiones de seguridad. Filmaré en Honduras. Santa Fe hubiera estado bien, pero solo tenía un tiempo limitado. Me quedé cerca de allí, pero la sección cerca de la cual estaba no era la más emocionante. Sin embargo, caminé por más regiones de la ciudad mientras estuve allí. Publicaré esas en las próximas semanas. Es una ciudad hermosa y muy segura para su tamaño, sin duda.

Thank you! It helps that I'm a pluviofile. I don't prefer long walks in the rain, but I do love rain. So it kind of equals out a bit. I really only dislike it at all because it makes it harder to film - I have to protect the camera a lot more as my rig isn't waterproof. But I generally love rain and I think it looks cool on the videos because you see so much less of that. :)
not just Buenos Aires has an "European" atmosphere, approx 3/4 of the country has it, from Rosario (second most important metropolis in Argentina and Che Guevara's hometown), as "European" as Buenos Aires:

It is a nice city Buenos Aires, but I was expecting a guau experience…especially Palermo quarter….for rich a famous Argentinian people!!!
Palermo seems to be more for expats in this area. In BaAs no one seems to hink of Palermo as "wow", it's just a central area that is convenient to a lot of things. And HOllywood especially is the last "wow" of Palermo, but I think the most affordable.

Don't know who Valentina is but she need to take a chill pill... In Buenos Aires you need to have the same street smarts you need for any big city. You should always be aware of your surroundings, and maybe looking a lot like a tourist can make a you more of a target for pickpockets. But Buenos Aires is the safest city in Latinamerica. Also, no one films? I mean... In touristy areas you can see people filming and taking photos all the time.
Even in touristy areas there was extremely little. I met a Guatemalan that was filming in a park. But i got looks everywhere. And in other countries it's normal to film all over not just tourist areas. It really seemed out of place and people really seemed surprised.

BA is basically the same as Dallas. That means summer is hot, winter is cold. But spring and fall are great.
as u've noticed, crossing Cordoba Av, u entered another neighborhood, called Chacarita.
returning by Dorrego Av is the limit between Colegiales and Palermo Hollywood, Mercado de Pulgas is actually Colegiales.
Palermo is the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, its coolest sector is Palermo Soho:

I talk about Soho a bit in future videos about why I prefer it and recommend it for future visits. Much better than Hollywood. But Chico looks really nice, too.

@@MatiasDC361 Depende de la zona hay edificios históricos muy bien mantenidos pero los no mantenidos no sólo es por cuestión de dinero, hay una controversia con el tema de las propiedades protegidas de la ciudad porque sino se mantiene es mas fácil a futuro poder tirarlo abajo para levantar un edificio sólo tiene que dejar parte de la fachada.

how can you say this is not a safe city? there is no doubt BA is huge and has problems like NY, Paris or London... but not a safe city? People from all ages walking around 24 hs, carrying their phones and living their lives peacefully? BA also feels VERY safe, it's MUCH safer than most big capitals iin the world. Not sure why you are bing so soared with that topic, maybe local friends scared you? Sad to see people traveling with such a narrow perspective on life.
I bring it up because EVERYONE there mentions it to me and has first had knowledge of being being robbed on the streets. None of it was MY perspective. And did you see my videos getting stopped by police? That BA isn't safe is from Porteños, not travelers. Sorry you have such a narrow perspective.
I was told that that was why there was so much shock by people on the street, trains, police that someone was filming. They never see it because being assaulted on the streets is believed to be so common. And it was SO true. I've never been anywhere so large with no one filming anything, and everyone so amazed to see someone willing to do so. And no where have I received more warnings and nowhere else have I met people who have watched people getting robbed multiple times.
And saying "other places are dangerous too" hints that you don't actually believe BA is safe. If BA is safe, point out that it is safe, not that other places are worse. That's missing the point.

Another useless walk complete with monologue; no interaction, no interviews ... just watching you walk and monologue. Please rethink your videos, your informative videos on living/moving to Nicaragua were excellent. I got more info from the comments. Here is where I get off the bus and unsubscribe.
You can't legally film people in Buenos Aires. What do you expect from randomly talking to people on the streets? I understand you dont want to watch these videos because this channel isn't for you. That's unfortunate. But you also need to set expectations. I'm not some jerk going around being rude to people and you asking repeatedly for me to do so isn't going to change my personality into being rude. If you want a passport bro channel, this isn't it.
You brag about speaking lots of languages, but you went to a "walking tour" video and are upset that it isn't a "random street interview" show. And then were upset that you clicked on it when you should have known what it was going to be. Why did you watch it?
I am interested, though. As a potential expat seeing what the city is like, what areas are like, what the shops are like are often quite interesting and these videos are heavily requested. So I'm making what people ask for and what seems like it would be useful to them because this material is missing on the Internet.
If I stop and talk to random people, not that I can but trying to empathize with what you are asking for, what utility do you imagine it providing? That might be entertaining in a Gen Z sort of "just see people say silly things" kind of way. But random interviews do not provide very much meaningful insight. You don't know if the person has any information or knowledge, the cafes are FULL of English speaking tourists, and you don't know the person and their context so their insights are useless. I'm 100% unclear what you want other than to make me get in trouble and make the channel annoying for everyone else.
What's your end goal?
Here is a general tip on empathy. When you choose a channel, much like choosing to move to a new country, you are PICKING a community that matches what you want. If you find something that has what you want, you subscribe (or relocate.) Once you are there, if you then say "Oh, I choose the wrong place, what I actually like is where I came from or a different channel" and then try to change the new place you picked out to not be the place that you picked 1) that doesn't work 2) it's disrespectful to everyone else who didn't make that mistake 3) it's inappropriate.
There is a different between helpful tips like "your lights are too bright and it is washing you out", that's a tweak; and "you should not make this show but make a different show." No, I assure you, you should be taking the time to watch the shows that are what you want, don't find a show that isn't what you want then make rude comments about how you don't like it when the only failure was you choosing the wrong show.
It's not like the show has changed. Don't act like me making the content I can make and not what I can't is somehow my problem. And don't act like the people who choose this show and hang around are wrong for doing so. You are literally the only person who has ever asked for this and you've never explained why you think that would be useful and no one has stated that they agreed with your idea that it would improve anything.
Basically, it sounds like you just don't like our community here and joined to complain and hoped to start some infighting. It doesn't sound like you have constructive input, nor have you ever justified such a logically weird request nor have you stated why you think it would even be appropriate to act that way in public.

Interacting with people isn't going around being rude to people, here's an idea, politely go up to someone and explain that you're a visitor making a video and would they be interested in saying a few things about their city etc., if they agree then turn on the camera. You will be surprised that people are actually quite friendly when approached in a respectful manner and most are very willing to talk about their city/country/culture.
I don't brag about speaking numerous languages, that is just a flat-out lie. I suggest you re-read my comments. Wow, it seems you are unable to accept constructive criticism of any kind, but, hey, that's your right.
