Abuse doesn’t have to be physical….it also can be psychological. The fear of being beaten is very real to a young child .
Absolutely especially with a vulnerable child, the fact he punished Sebastian for telling someone about him hitting him shows he was scaring him into never telling the truth about what he does to him at home again. It shows he's an abusive bully.

I agree with you that Sabastian wasn't happy about going to live with Seth and quite possibly overheard Katie talking to Chris on the phone about the fact that the date was drawing close that he would be going and imo couldn't deal well with that fact and decided to leave rather than go live with Seth.

May our heavenly Father bring unity peace and healing to these families. We know he is seeing their pain. God our heavenly father loves them and so does Sebastian love his parents. It's so stressful on them while their son is missing and don't know why and where he is. God our heavenly father wants Unity, to heal the family. So, lets build each other up, not tear down. If he was to come back now, its not good for him. The parents need to come together for him. Sebastian needs a village of unity and peace to come home to, Not A War Zone.

My autistic child takes words out of content too .Yes ,you should explain what certain words mean but it was over looked at time .The conversation between him and Seb was an average everyday conversation between a parent who wants their kid to clean their room! I’m sure everyone here has said that to their child too or something close! Ppl are gonna comment ..no I never say that ..and you’re a lier! Also he was diagnosed autistic back then either!
