With a bachelor's degree, 5 years relevant experience, and willingness to work on demand nights and weekends of course. Also you must have no expectations of days off, reasonably priced healthcare or anything of the sort.

Let me guess: firm handshake and a willingness to work for free for an unspecified amount of time to prove yourself to people that will fire you for no reason?

    One word: Experience
Many people don't want to mention that a bachelors degree and certification training are useless because everyone can acquire knowledge but not everyone can apply knowledge

Both those places are terrible if your looking for a job. You have a better shot if you move to the dakotas or other midwestern state, except ohio dont go there. Dont use linked in either. Have confidence u would likely get the job before if it were actually open etc.. some companies are doing ghost interviews where they interview alot but are not serious about hiring. Avoid staffing agencies if possible apply directly to company etc.

Data is useless. Interview for every job market is still tough. You have to go thru 3 or 4 rounds of interviews for the same company and no hiring decisions are made yet. It is not easy to land a job offer. That is the harsh reality

Even medical doctors are at the will of upper management/ medical directors. They have no freedom unless they are private practice.

It’s not a tough job market. Way better than it has been. I’m not sure why y’all are mouthpiecing narratives rather than sticking with data.

It's a very tough job market actually. I've been applying to multiple jobs daily, and cant even land an interview for positions I'm more than qualified for. Many of these "entry-level" positions, especially in tech and finance, are quite hard to obtain without 2-3 years of experience. Needless to say, the job market at the moment is quite difficult.

You’re going to have to be creative. Figure it out. Get specific w your intentions. Good things don’t happen by accident. Luck happens when you’re prepared. If you have a specific company that you want to work for you may have to wait. People new from school can’t make a company money and they’re are less positions available. Personally, I would learn the company’s personnel and perhaps the company’s administrative structure. From there I would consider a handwritten letter and sell yourself for a position that you covet. I’d have a million ideas for you to get a dream job. Jobs aren’t light switches. They don’t just happen with a flick of a switch. You gotta work for it, and work towards that dream job. You’re not entitled. But if you get in, you’ve got to be able to generate profit for your employer that matches your salary. Theoretical work in university, trade schools, colleges and the like is just that. I’ve known people who work for years toward getting into their specific field of expertise and trainings. Keep your chin up, push yourself to be creative, and remember the journey is your story. Don’t forget to vote for politicians who promote unions, affordable education for future students.

I've seen a lot of jobs but haven't been able to land a job or get an interview. I've been working for 14 years, 7 of them as a technician and 2 of them as a supervisor, and an engineering degree. I shouldn't have a problem finding a job but here we are.
