THanks . great video. Really helpfull. Much better soloution than paying a monthly subscription, especially for those of us that only game occasionally
They use data center GPUs. These have the ability to carve up the GPU to give you a portion of the hardware. You'll have to look at the VM SKU to determine what you have. However, some of these are amazing, and equally as good as the consumer RTX GPU's with ray tracing and all the works.
Great informative video! I was wondering if it is possible to get a microphone to work on the remote PC to use in game VC in a game like DotA 2. I have tried to enable/disable the tooltip and audio/mic settings on the client side. Keep up the great videos.
Thanks a lot for your video, I got hundreds of ideas now 😅 would be just perfect to scripts all of this in order to get it on demand and start and stop it directly for a cheap Raspberry pi.
@@BlaizeTech Since the gaming calculation is done on Azure side, I was expecting a Raspberry should be enough just to render the result. I know we can run Steam desk on it, I will have a try and give you my conclusion ;)
@@yoanncharpiot4778 As long as it supports the codec with hardware decoding, I think it should work. Raspis are pretty slow on software decoding of video streams.
@@BlaizeTech The last Rasp pi 5 can display 2 4K screens in parallel, so it would be a good test to do. Nevertheless I am currently blocked since the only VM I can deploy is a Standard NV4as v4 (4vcpu, 14Go RAM) and I cannot install nor NVIDIA Data center or GRIID Drivers (its not finishing the install stating its not the appropriate Graphic Card). Would you have any idea on the problem?
I don't think you can get multiple VMs for gaming on one PC. That would be way too much. With Azure, you could get multiple VMs playing the same game, etc.
@@BlaizeTech I cant uninstall the hyper v driver. When I uninstall it, and then when I refresh the computer , device manager page refreshes and again its coming
Hi Nice video and very informative. Thanks for that I have this issue which I put in my password for TightVNC, it disconnects from RDP and comes back to my original laptop.... it fully kicks me out of VM. Am I missing something here? I followed all the steps as in the video.
Can i play vr game on it with air link for quest 3 ? Can i connect my ps5 controller to play mode vr game like gta vr mod and also install the mod it self
They're pretty strict on these and they're only available in certain regions. I've had pretty good luck with the NC-series, which are a better GPU in any case.
@BlaizeTech I'm pretty sure it's avaliable in my region however I think I wasn't using the right subscription and hadn't realised that I need to go to resource provider to get it for a quotas , but thanks for helping
There is a free trial on Azure, but I am not sure if it will cover the GPU VMs. Using spot instances, you could do it for just a couple of bucks though to see if it's your cup of tea.
So can we play it directly on the device or must we use steam remote or parsec to play smoothly And do the machine keeps the data after we shut it down?
Playing it on the device does not compress the video. You need steam (or parsec) to make it work. The machine does keep the data after you shut it down. It's just a VM on Azure.

Glad you found it helpful! I use it for gaming because I'm more occasional.
awesome video.. im just wondering how you know which gpu is what.. like if i want a rtx 4000 ? is it avialable?

I played Diablo 3 on one, and it was smooth as butter.

The audio seems to be one way only. Maybe there's a way to forward the audio signal?

This is more for PC games, but a raspi can do some games.

Awesome! Glad it helped!
hi i m ulable to download nvdia GPU
Did you try it from NVidia's site?

Can I do the same with Windows server 2022 instead of windows 11 or windows 10?
I don't see why not. But I have not tried it.

I can’t get my resolution higher than 1366x768, no matter what i do 😢
I'm not sure why that would be the case. The tool should allow you to select at least 1080p
