    I think there was briefly that look of longing we all thought Mickey would have when he saw Ian again but then when he saw he was taking drugs he that went to the background and the protectiveness he will occasionally show, e.g. the stuff with his wife earlier this season. comes to the foreground. I also liked that Mickey shown to be enjoying that dance in any way. I think it was because that isn't the Ian he knows and cares for. Not an Ian taking drugs and dancing for guys for $25 he knows that Ian is better than that.

    Ian did leave because of the whole Mickey situation after all so I don't think it will be as easy as a "kiss and make up" sort of thing. Besides when is anything ever that easy on this show, haha.

    Lip doesn't go to MIT. I don't think the EL in Chicago extends all the way to Massachusetts.

  • @WhatFC

    As someone below noted, Lip isn't at MIT. In case you're not aware, MIT stands for Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Lip wouldn't be a short distance away if he were at MIT. Secondly, Lip didn't get his GED. He finished high school and graduated. Remember, he had to stay an extra semester. Lastly, Fiona pushed Lip to go to college when he was fully prepared to stay home and help. She told him to put his focus on getting a college education, and now everything has fallen apart. So Lip has ample reason to be totally pissed off.

    To everyone complaining about the accuracy of Lip's college, according to the show's wikipedia, he DOES still go to MIT. i guess the show just hoped everyone would accept the idea that he could hop on a train from massachussetts to chicago despite that being realistically impossible. Yet if you check online or watch the show, they make no mention of him switching colleges and they DO blatantly show his acceptance to MIT, the dean saying that he was still on scholarship (assumingly the same one he told mandy he got when he found out he got in.) So he obviously goes there.

    Thank God Ian's back it definitely isn't the same without him he's one of the six Gallagher kid's it's like the whole family is falling apart when they all were separated now that Lip's back and Ian hopefully it will start getting better Fiona always said that Lip and Ian are her rock's they always helped her take care of Debbie Carl & Liam I think the accident with Liam would of never happened if they all were at home and I don't know what's going to happened now I don't think its going to be the same between Fiona and Lip for a while and also i think Ian might be bipolar by the way he was acting when Lip & Debbie found him and his mother has it so their is a very good chance he could of inherit it from her

    I believe Lip goes to Chicago Poly Tech. He does not go to MIT. If he did it would be more than a train ride away.

    I'm not defending Fiona at all. I think what she did was reprehensible, but we forget that Fiona is still a kid, who really never had a childhood. She's had to be responsible since she was what, 14 years old, and with Frank and Monica as parents, probably even longer than that. That type of responsibility can be crushing on someone so young, with so much riding on her. She finally lost it, and it didn't just happen, it's been a slow progression since season 1, and it's finally come to a head. Next season will be Fi's redemptive arc.

    I think Lip's concern over Fiona going to prison for 5 years was not about her, it was more about his life and having to leave college to take care of the kids. I just wanted her to explode and tell him she gave up her life for them too! Also, Lip is gonna sleep with his roommate's girl and ruin that friendship.

  • @GoodGirlGoneBad1984

    Fiona deserved everything Lip has said and done. She's being so stupid and selfish. It is her fault about Liam and she needs to really get that. Maybe if it's just me but if she has anything to do with Mike's brother I will be done with her.

    • @prcbras
      @prcbras 10 лет назад +1

      I disagree with you. Fiona's going through a lot, and like she sais, she's blaming herself enough already, Lip doesn't need to treat her like that. He let a girl he barely knows take care of Liam over Fiona, who clearly would be super careful with him after what happened. That was awful.

      @celticbird2398 10 лет назад

      I agree with you to a point, her cheating on Mike was bullshit, that pissed me off more than anything else. I don't know what happens next week butt if Lip really does leave with the kids, that's going WAY overboard.

    • @ihatefrankiero
      @ihatefrankiero 10 лет назад +3

      prcbras No, I don't agree with you. "She's blaming herself enough already" actually no, she and everyone else at the party who held Liam claimed to have not seen him and all defended themselves saying it was an accident and not stepping up. Yes, it was an accident, but it's CHILD ENDANGERMENT and she IS GUILTY and she won't accept that. She had cocaine out and there's no excuse for that at all and using it too when there's children there, again, no excuse for it. You can't keep defending her over this. It's not hating on her for being real with this and accepting the fact it's HER FAULT but wanting her to step up and admit it and then move on from it. She keeps messing up and she's already told by the judge not to drink or do anything of the sort and in the next episode she gets drunk and burns their dinner, already messing up again with children under her care. She is the guardian, and she isn't acting like it and fans seriously need to accept that and understand that just because she's a beloved character doesn't make any of this okay. If you actually care about someone that doesn't mean shrugging off their wrongs it's acknowledging they aren't perfect and wanting them to change for the better. She's been going downhill for quite some time now and it just keeps getting worse. She didn't even try to find Ian and without Mickey he would've been taken advantage of by that old man and undoubtedly the same thing has happened countless times and Fiona did nothing to look for Ian at all. It's important to open your eyes and see where her character is headed because that's the whole point of her actions right now, they're going a certain direction for a reason. What she's going through, what she's been through, doesn't mean none of this happened.

    LIP DOES NOT GO TO MIT....THIS HAS BEEN REALLY BOTHERING ME. Trust me I live in Massachusetts, and there's no quick train to god damn Chicago...Are you people seriously reviewing this show? Lip always says hell hop on the L-train every time he goes to and from school..He's at the university of Chicago...If you watched the show you should know he doesn't end up going to MIT..And if you have any common sense you would know you can't hope on a train from Chicago to Boston in order to get back to school quickly in time for a test?

    The gay kid storyline never worked for me once he started to look older than his actual age. Should have just cut him out aka left him in the military. The story is just not remotely believable. Episode was an average episode of Shameless (not great, not bad) and I like Shameless so I will keep watching

      Oliver Yuen
      From the store owner shooting, identity theft to get into the military, military not being able to find him, to being a bartender even though he is a wanted fugitive also not being 21, to not calling his family, and him being so coke out he won't call his family. All scenarios that are too unbelievable. Not only that the actor looks 25 not 18 or 19 his real age I believe is 19 though.

      Stamps600 i absolutely love this storyline its not typical gay character fully assure of himself/herself at 12 and everyone accepting it as hollywood trys to portrait. Its realistic that you have muddled feelings for bf who is not exactly open but loves you, its realistic that he would go to military because he trained for it a nd tbe reason he worked at bar is his looks, their not actually checking id and doing irs check for you to be a cute face and sling liquor. The storylines on shameless maybe extreme but theyre so truthful. People be doing cray shit to escape poverty expecially if they are smart and attractive-#hustleshameless

    • @Stamps600
      @Stamps600 10 лет назад

      Will Smalls It would have been found out during boot camp that he committed identity theft completely unrealistic. Not only that he steals a helicopter and the military cannot find him. Never would happen considering the military has more resources than any fugitive task force or Texas Rangers he would have been caught. There is no bar in the country that will hire someone underage or that doesn't have a (whatever they call a alcohol serving card in your state) to work. If you get caught having a bartender without a sheriff's card your whole business is done. Cannot receive a sheriff's card without a fingerprint in my state. If you're underage they make you be a shot girl and you're never allowed behind the bar.

    • @ihatefrankiero
      @ihatefrankiero 10 лет назад +1

      Dude we know that it's unrealistic he would get into the military with a fake ID, a lot of the story is completely exaggerated for drama but that's what shows do and like I said all of the the story lines are ridiculous. You're just saying that Ian's is unrealistic and that alone makes for a bad story and he should be cut out completely which is stupid, sorry. The entire show is pretty "unrealistic" at times with loads of situations that would never really happen but that doesn't make the show bad it just makes it a little over-the-top. We all know Ian's military story line is pretty out-there but it could be worse and it doesn't mean they should "cancel him out completely".
