Great vid! We recently lost our 12 year old Pom to tracheal collapse. We adopted him at approximately six years of age and never used a collar on him. These guys really have weak tracheas. One thing that I would have also included is being careful about keeping their teeth clean. Poms frequently suffer form gum disease and this leads to heart problems. Our Pom arrived at our house with no teeth. He developed a leaky heart valve within three years of us adopting him and he saw a cardiologist for the rest of his life.
Yes they have terrible teeth. You need to start as early as you can with getting them used to dental care. For tiny dogs they are a lot of work. But they’re definitely worth it!!

Active Pomeranians love to run around, which makes it extremely important to keep them out of danger. Kitchens offer dangers to puppies when a puppy parent cooks. A cook could spill something on a puppy or trip and fall. Puppies, like children, have to be protected when they are young because they don't yet sense danger.
I have learned so very much from you and appreciate your knowledge of poms and how you share so cheerfully. My little Pom, Bitsy, is now 4 years old and living a happy and healthy life because of your wonderful advice!! Thank you! Hope you are ever so happy with your certification! Your Pom’s are delightful to watch.
I’m getting a 1 year old Pom later this week and I’m a first time dog owner, this video was super helpful and I learnt some new things! Definitely following and watching more of your videos ☺️
This is the best pomeranian introduction video I've seen, you summed up alot of common issues or quirks of the breed really well! Definitely a video new owners should watch! Congratulations on your certification too! I think you'll be a great trainer, and this channel will be a big asset for you as well 🙂
Aww thank you so much, Adam! Haha yes I definitely think so too - I got the certificate quite a while ago but I just couldn't find the time to tell about my training services on my channel until now and won't be able to run classes until next year either. There are so many things I wanna do to create a positive impact on the dog owner community yet so little time. Well if only I had 48 hours a day 😂😂😂
@@CeceFamily I think Boo and Cece will be great ambassadors for mom's training business, especially if Boo is wearing his very handsome bow tie! I can't help but smile and laugh when I see him wearing that 😆 It'll be fun to see where things go from here! I wish you the best of luck! I run a business of my own too, so I know it can be challenging, especially at the beginning, but it's definitely worth it! I think you'll do great 👍
Im getting a pomeranian today so your videos really help me, since im worried how i should treat them right. im watching all your videos, thank you. i learned many things which i didnt even consider!
I've watched your videos since I got my christmas pom last year. I've learned a lot, and am still learning. Im happy to say I have not made any of those mistakes! We have gates with a door to block off the kitchen, stairs and a gate to prevent running outside. Always used a harness, brush out and groom a couple times a week, and socializing him from the very beginning !
Thank you so much for making these videos, I’ve recently had to help take care of and groom my grandparents Pom and I’m a hound person😅 You videos have been very helpful and informative.
As a Pom owner myself I totally agree with the harness and early socialization/training early on. Because we did this our pom is super friendly and social everywhere we go with him. He loves meeting new people and dogs which is great because he is adorable! We do shave ours though due to us not always being able to brush him off often. We did leave his hair long for the first several years before we started consistently shaving him. His groomer and I are very surprised that his hair has not grown back weird or uneven yet. He’s 10 years old now and only started consistently shaving him about 4-5 years ago.
I just love how you are so devoted and carring to animals. I am like you as far as always having a connection to animals. Animals are always drawn in to me all of my life and I am sure its been that way for you. Your video was beautiful.
Great video! Congratulations on getting your trainer certification! I wish I did live in NYC so I could take your class but I'm sure you will have lots of good clients! 💕🐶
Summary: -Dont use a leash, use a harness . A leash will cause stress on a dogs throat and the pulling can hurt them, especially small dogs. - Socialize your dog with other well trained dogs and humans, especially from 6-16 weeks old, this is very important in developing their behavior for the future. - Make sure to groom your dog often, train it as soon as possible to get used to frequent brushing and grooming so their fur won't get matted. -Wipe their tear stains often and keep their face/eyes area clean -Make sure to block off areas of the home where they are prone to getting hurt (unless you can keep close watch on them 24/7) such as the kitchen (so they dont eat foods off the floor the you dropped and might make them sick) or stairways (so they dont hurt their little legs ).
I made a lot of mistakes with my Pom 😢and he broke his knee but he recovered over 2 weeks now he walks perfectly but it was very hard on him 😃and I’m very happy his growing up to be a very cheerful and playful boy❤️
Great vid! I am getting a pom puppy in 2 weeks and I have been watching everything I can to learn as much as I can. I would have never imagined that trachea collapse would be an issue, considering that my family has always owned medium-large dogs.
I'm planning to get a new dog and I'm considering a pomeranian, so I'm doing research and preparation. Thanks so much for this video, it was super informative, well produced and engaging!
Thank you for addressing the arm pit hair no one seems to talk about it. I brush Hudson every two days. If his eye stains get hard I use cotton ball dipped in warm water I blot or wipe gently to loosen up the hard stuff and use flea comb and it comes out easily. I'm gentle around the eye area. I know he doesn't do stairs so he sleeps downstairs as the stairs are steep and I don't want him to fall.
My dog loves harness instead of leash. She barks at things bigger than her but is happy with kids and dogs smaller than her. It didn’t help that we got her during the pandemic so we had to train her ourselves. And CONGRATS ON THE TRAINER CERTIFICATE!! Wish we could ask you for training but we’re in California lol
Yep pandemic has done a number of things on puppies! Lucky she turned out mostly fine though - and only reacts to bigger dogs. I'm sure she will get better the more often she gets to interact with bigger dogs too! ❤️
I've gone down a rabbit hole of researching Pomeranians, and gotta say your videos are SO HELPFUL!!!! Funny enough, I first fell in love with Poms when I met the sweetest one in Hoi An, so it seems like there is Pomeranian love all around the world. Thanks for the great videos, keep it up! :)
I try to socialize my almost 10 month Pom, but I’m so fearful that another dog may be aggressive and hurt her. She’s so tiny and my former fur baby (Pom) was mauled to death by a Rottweiler. I’m so VERY protective of her no matter the size of the dog.
I’m so so sorry to hear that! It must have been a very traumatizing experience for you! 🥺 I would have been traumatized for life if I were you too so I totally understand where you’re coming from ❤️ Maybe try to socialize your Pom with some of the dogs that you personally know and trust (such as your friend and family’s dogs) of the same size first? I’m sure if the socialization is with familiar dogs with good temperament of the same size, and especially when it’s supervised closely with equipments to break the fights handy, it will be okay ❤️
Mistake#1 has cost me $$$ with Lightning. The trainer used it and that's when we saw problems. Good on #2 & 3 thanks to your help on brushing, #4 is taking me forever to get rid of, #5 learned the hard way with TP around the house :), but now gated off from the whole house when we are gone...in case he decides to leave us a little brown suprise.

I'm luck with my pom, doesn't bark at anything, doesn't care about other dogs, but loves people. Again, doesn't bark AT ALL. She's obsessed with food though. Gotta be very carefully what we leave laying around. Just last night I left a sealed bag of oreos on the floor next to my chair. Ate just about half of it while I was sleeping
I had a pom for almost 18 years. She constantly amazed me. She was by far the smartest dog I have ever owned including the border collies I have now. I used to wonder how she packed so much smarts into such a tiny brain. She was more like a partner than a dog. She would help me herd the chickens back in when they got out, tell on the cats when they got on the counters, when I was making a quilt she would keep that rat terrier off the cloth on the floor, in the barn she would root out mice, and she never failed to make me happy when I was sad. She did way more things than I could tell here. All I can say is never be harsh with your dog, any dog. They all want to please you and if you can show them what you want and praise them they will try even harder to do the right thing. I finally had to put my pom down when she got a liver tumor. I miss my little friend.
@@CeceFamily Thank you. I needed that today. I saw a man in the store today and he had a pom peeking out from inside his coat. We talked about them. I have been missing mine so much even though she has been gone a year. So much death in my house it's hard to take it al in. My husband died Sept. 15, 2021. My youngest son died the day before Thanksgiving in 20232 My pom died in 2023 and I had to put down her puppy on the 13th of this month. She also had a big growth on her liver. The puppy was 16.5 years old and 1/2 chihuahua. She was a good little dog but she was.not as smart as her mother. Anyway I miss them all. My house is so empty and going to bed all alone with no little dog at my head or feet just seems so wrong. Anyhow your words of kindness mean a lot to me today. Thank you BTW I could understand you perfectly. You have a lovely voice and your advice is spot on.
I love my pom so much but I made the mistake of not letting him socialize with other dogs, out of fear that something bad would happen to him because he was so small, but he does love humans
I will be getting my pom at around 4.5/5 months. She's living with the breeder right now. Will I be able to do all these things despite her older age? I watched the whole video, I'm worried about tear stains and fur problems. Ofc you already explained everything about late socializing. Thanks a lot for everything, I will keep on binging your videos to be super ready and studied!
That sounds super exciting! A good and ethical breeder should already have started socializing your puppies to other dogs that she has and different environmental triggers so that shouldn't be a concern at all! (Of course that's always a big if - but you often get a sense of if the breeder truly cares about the puppy's well-being just by talking to them)
@@CeceFamily i think she does some that, I'm sure she watch carefully because the little one we are getting it's the smallest and she doesn't wanna risk other dogs to harm her unintentionally. This month is gonna be the longest wait in my life 😂 Me and my gf will have a trip to NY at the end of the month and after that she will be able to come home 🥹
Thanks very much for this video. Only mistake we make is not wiping her tears away and will make sure we do that daily. Great breed of dog and so much fun
And yes, I've heard a lot of not shaving your Pom as it can harm them. Our Pom is 8 yrs old and gets a groom session every month including a jacuzzi bath lol. She's well spoiled lol
Thank you! ❤️ Maybe try playing the sound of motorcycle from your phone at home at a low decibel first and reward her with treats so she can make a positive association with the sound, and gradually increase the volume, and finally when she's ready - bring her outside close to a motorcycle but far enough so she won't react to it and repeat the same process? I hope this helps - this might take time to get rid of though haha! She's soooooo cute btw!!! I love her dress in your photo! ❤️ And hey my English name is Jane too 😛
Your videos are the best! I wish I was in NY because I’d 100% be coming to you! I regret not getting my girl socialized with other dogs, but she was sick when I got her at 8 weeks, and by the time she better and fully vaccinated it was too hot in Orlando. She’s 10 months now and she’s not aggressive with other dogs, but very shy and doesn’t really know how to play. I want to get another dog but I don’t know when it’ll be appropriate timing.
Aww thank you so much!!! ❤️ At least she's not aggressive so that's a good thing hehe! But fearful dogs are usually incredibly challenging to train too as they're running away from the trigger instead of coming towards it. Just find a few close friends around for her to hang out weekly or daily if possible, and that should help to build her confidence slowly. Get another dog whenever you feel like you're ready for another year of having a puppy around - it's a lot of work to raise a puppy, and can be both mentally and physically exhausting we all know it haha! 😂
We had all electrical outlets installed 16” off the floor. This was to make them out of reach of a puppy. We also have outlet covers over the outlets. I heard that you can spray an anti-chew chemical on the wall and floor near the outlets to discourage from getting close.
I highly recommend the Gooby No choke harness. My Pom puppy was still gagging with a regular harness until I changed him to this one. With my previous Pom, I always observed he seemed much happier after having a clip at the groomers- much more full of energy?
Thank you so much for your suggestion! We'll definitely look into it! Dogs usually have zoomies after a bath, and go crazy running around the house - it's actually pretty normal! Ours do it all the time too after we groom them at home and it's so much fun to look at hehe!
NEVER have your Pom groomed by anyone not trained in grooming Poms. Shaving a Pom destroys their beautiful coat and it will never look the same. Speaking from experience.
My pom Sylvie is reactive towards people, dogs, and inanimate objects. She's slowly getting better but when it comes to inanimate objects, I have to nudge it with my foot to make her realize it's safe. When I got her, her old owner said she was 8 months old, but first trip at the vet told me she was 1-2 years old. I have a toy Aussie who used to have that issue but we've been able to fix it and he does much better now. My biggest issue is my papillon is extremely social but he also likes to cause trouble, so even if he's not bothered by the sight of other people/dogs, he'll alert her to it and she'll get into a barking fiasco. Still, she's getting better.
Thank you for not giving up on their behavioral issues and continually working on them! I’m sure they’ll improve after consistent exposure to the triggers and counter-conditioning at the right threshold ❤️
Pomeranians definitely must be thoroughly socialized asap unfortunately my mother's pom was extremely ill and very delicate for several weeks from the day he came home and needed constant care for the first entire week which caused him to not only miss out on that vital time window but form the mother of all attachment issues. He's not a fan of strangers on the street outside the window and while he will tolerate the presence of people in public even large noisy crowds, he refuses to allow anyone to touch him unless my mom literally puts their hand on him and it does nothing but stress him out so she usually refuses 90% of the time he's fine with other dogs especially younger and surprisingly much larger dogs and he adores cats considering he lives with 3 but he is very picky with the people he allows around him
Don't crate any animal if you don't really have to. It makes their bones weak. Happy and healthy means building strong bones (run an empty soccer field daily) so falling down the stairs isn't an issue.. no gates necessary.
You need to crate train any dog, especially for emergencies. Your dog is gonna be crated at the vet and at the groomers anyways at some point in its life.
Love your video. I'd found you several months ago when I finally found my pomeranian. Her name is Sabrina. Miniature pom that'll be 4 pounds fully grown. Ah, I wish I could show you lol
Love our lil Pomeranian, but the socialization thing we can relate to and can not get our lil guy out of the problem it caused, We live in Australia and got Rin February 2021. We got him at 8 weeks old, from the time he was born till we got him there had been bad bushfires. The person we got him from had been isolated because of the fires and everyone was told to stay inside because of the smoke, the bushfires lasted 2 months. Then for near 3 weeks after we got him we had torrential rain and thunderstorms nearly every day So where stuck inside. 2 weeks after getting our little man, Covid hit and we where put in lockdown for a little over 8 months. He is now 4, and while he is good with us and close family, (the few we could let him be social with thanks to fires, rain and covid) he is extremely reactive when taking him on walks or out, so often looking for places that have no people or other dogs :(
On s again great video!!! Great information especially the collar and socialization factor. I think Pomeranians are naturally social animals this is what makes them great therapy dogs. I do want to suggest that sone Poms can be born with a natural instinct of a natural fear. It is critical as you state to get them socialized with so many different situations. I currently have a Pom that has this condition. From birth she has feared people and tends to back up even with those she is knows well. While I socialize her often I also realize that I can’t push her into accepting new people and situations that make this situation worse. So we carefully socialize her, give her time to adjust but keep introducing her new situations. What is truly amazing I have a son with severe disabilities and she naturally goes to him and spend quality time with him. I don’t know if she senses her is different and needs her if she feels more comfortable because he doesn’t push her to behave, we are trying to figure this out but we also recognize her comfort level and respect this so it’s a fine line to not it’s your dog into uncomfortable situations and socializations. Think about it this way, every person you meet aren’t friendly and some people are very comfortable being away from others. Poms can be the same way so it’s truly worth knowing where your feels relaxed and respect thus too. I have seen such different personalities traits in each and every Pom so that you don’t make the mistake and transitive a Pom bully pushing them too hard. My little one right now loves certain people l, my cat but you can see the panic hit as soon as she gets in the car. Even though we have given her many many rides in the car she just is uncomfortable with ur. Perhaps she has motions issues as well. We recognize when she has a had too much and don’t want to over do her exposures. Perhaps you can do a video of when you get a Pom like this? I realize you touched on thus in this recent video but what yo do when the Pom is truly nit able to handle things even with your efforts to recondition them to feel comfortable. She showed great promise as a therapy dog she just isn’t going to fill this role. So she will make a great pet, one thst loves you unconditionally but you have to address all of her needs. She too will Benedict with another Pom in our home which I’m used to as you mentioned if you train you Pom from the very begging to be used to other dogs they will be thrilled to have another Pom they can play with. I also wanted to ask you to share the best toys fir Poms. I have found that my shy Pom loves to “seek” so I have found lots of ways to have her seek treats, and toys and puzzle game thst she is very good at and it builds her confidence as well. Also nit every trainer as you pointed out are familiar with Pom training so beware of your trainer selection. You don’t want to select a trainer that goes for one size fits all approaches as clearly they don’t recognize the difference and Pons are nit German Sheoprard’s! If they can’t see this then they can’t train yurt dog. Thus is why your trainer talents are needed here. If you can share more training suggestion it would be greatly appreciate. Thanks again fir a great video many Poms and their owners will benefit and thank you for it.🙏🙏🥰
I wish I could speak any type of second language. It’s not easy and you speak English exceptionally well. I’m hard of hearing and gave no problem hearing you.
I have made mistake #2. I waited till she got all her shots and now she’s afraid of everything. I have her in training and my trainer says to start taking her to parks where she can approach people if she wants to to help build her confidence. I was thinking of taking her to my university. She gets really excited near people and pees and my vet said it’ll go away so I’m hoping it goes away soon. I take her on walks and she freezes every time she sees a person or a dog. I’ve been using treats to get her to focus on me so I’ll keep trying that
I'm so glad you're getting her the help she needs, and that you keep trying to counter-condition her fears with positive reinforcement. She's lucky to have you & I'm sure she'll get better soon with more practice and training!
I did make one mistake when I got my boy. Roughly at 5-6 months old he had his first grooming appointment, I didn’t know much about the coat type and ended up getting him shaved… He’s 4 now and his coat is still recovering. I was so careful with my boy as a puppy, however he still got enough socialization. No collar, unless it’s already on and it’s only for a quick potty break. We did use an ecollar for off leash training, as we had tried everything else first. I definitely don’t recommend it for everyone, it’s just what my boy needed. We are able to get away with once a week brushing, because I am constantly checking his coat for matts. Most often I catch them when they can still be brushed out, and I clip them out carefully if I can’t brush it out. We use gates in our house to restrict his ability to go to certain places, and use a bathroom rn (his crate has needed cleaned for a while, I just haven’t had the spoons for it) when we leave the house and he doesn’t come with us.
Hoping someone can help, I have two 10 week old boy pomeranians (from the same litter) and they are sleeping in their playpen together, however I can constantly hear and see them play fighting which is getting slightly more aggressive. I’m still new to this breed, and need help with training them. Do you think it’s best to keep them in seperate playpens/crates? I generally leave to go to work at 8am and they’re home together most of the day. What would be the best option for them?
Very helpful video, thank you so much! All of these things are really good to know. My Pomeranian (his name is Nyro and he's a bit older than two years) is luckily quite well behaved, although lately he has been whining very often. We suspect it's because of a female dog in our neighborhood who is in heat, because he's also very active, humps our shoes sometimes, and outside he starts pulling the leash like he never does otherwise. It has been like this for two days now, but it isn't the first time he's like this and it usually goes away after some time, but we never know how to deal with this situation, since we definitely don't wanna punish our dog (we only reward him for good behaviour and tell him something is wrong by saying "no"), but the noises he makes are kind of aggravating when you're trying to do work or talk to each other.
I'm so lucky my pom is a "throwback" and around 17 lb. It makes her much less fragile, but I still never use the leash on her collar. She makes coughing sounds when I even touch her neck. I definitely don't want to pull on it. Congrats on becoming a dog trainer!
@@Brownmanifesting I love the typical size of Poms too! My pup was given up at a shelter, and I was shocked that someone would surrender such a special dog.
Aww haha! Yup throwback Poms are less fragile for sure and we'd love to have one too if it weren't for our travel frequency! I can't imagine how I can squeeze a 17-pound dog into a tiny carrier under the airplane seat 😂😅
@@CeceFamily It's not as bad as I originally thought it would be! She is very good on planes. It just took a lot of training to get her comfortable with her carrier.
Can I ask u a question. I am just about to buy a pom but I noticed 2 pows and its face has a lot of red/pink. Can this be anything wrong with it or is that just normal. I have had a Pom myself but she was ginger and didn’t get this red/pink on her face or paws. The dog is all health checked and kc registered. If u could let me know that would be great thanks.
I'm going to be a Pomeranian owner in about 4 months, feeling pretty nervous! I feel like because of my anxiety, I might accidentally teach my Pom to fear stairs, big dogs, and kids, haha... Should I teach my dog how to use the stairs? And if so, what age should I teach them? Or would it be better to not teach them at all and just train them to wait for me to carry them up the stairs? The downside I could see of this is the dog not knowing what to do if there was a house fire and I wasn't there. While teaching them to use the stairs could risk some accidental injury if I forget to gate the area. Do you have advice for socializing your Pom with big dogs and kids that may be a risk for them? I'm thinking of putting a coyote vest on my Pom at dog parks to put my mind somewhat at ease, lol.
My first advice is to relax - everything will be fine especially when you've done all the homework beforehadn like you're doing now! Yes you can definitely teach your dog to use the stairs, at what age would really depend on your Pom's size and your stairs but I generally tell people to wait until they are at least 4 months just so that they're less clumsy, and also just gate the stairs when you're away. While it's possible to teach your dog to wait for you to carry them up the stairs (both of my Poms know how to wait for me even though they are capable of climbing up if they really want to), I wouldn't trust a puppy home alone with stairs ungated especially when puppies are so prone to hip and knee issue as their joints are still growing at this period.
There are always big dogs that are good and gentle with small dogs, and big dogs that aren't a good fit and play a bit too rough for their safety. It's usually pretty easy to tell one from the other once you learn how to read their body language. So you know just observe the kids and the big dogs's body language, and only let them hang out around gentler big dogs. I mean worst comes to worst, you can always intervene if it becomes too much for them so don't worry too much!
Her : turn on the caption if you'd like because English isn't her first language Me after watching the whole video without it : Gurrrrrllll you did amazing

Congratulations on your certification too! I think you'll be a great trainer, and this channel will be a big asset for you as well 🙂
Yes I agree 👍💖
Aww thank you so much, Adam! Haha yes I definitely think so too - I got the certificate quite a while ago but I just couldn't find the time to tell about my training services on my channel until now and won't be able to run classes until next year either. There are so many things I wanna do to create a positive impact on the dog owner community yet so little time. Well if only I had 48 hours a day 😂😂😂
@@CeceFamily I think Boo and Cece will be great ambassadors for mom's training business, especially if Boo is wearing his very handsome bow tie! I can't help but smile and laugh when I see him wearing that 😆
It'll be fun to see where things go from here! I wish you the best of luck! I run a business of my own too, so I know it can be challenging, especially at the beginning, but it's definitely worth it! I think you'll do great 👍
I'll get a pom someday, thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you! All these things that you've learned will surely help you when the time comes! ❤️
Im getting a pomeranian today so your videos really help me, since im worried how i should treat them right. im watching all your videos, thank you. i learned many things which i didnt even consider!
I’ve been thinking about giving my Pom a brother . Haven’t decided yet. But I love my Pomeranian
Glad to see you didn’t let the haters get to you
I've watched your videos since I got my christmas pom last year. I've learned a lot, and am still learning. Im happy to say I have not made any of those mistakes! We have gates with a door to block off the kitchen, stairs and a gate to prevent running outside. Always used a harness, brush out and groom a couple times a week, and socializing him from the very beginning
!
That's AWESOME!! He's so lucky to have you!!
Thank you so much for making these videos, I’ve recently had to help take care of and groom my grandparents Pom and I’m a hound person😅
You videos have been very helpful and informative.
Aww thank you! And how nice of you to try to learn all these things for your grandparents’ Pom 🤍
Wonderful video! So happy you are providing much needed information🥰
Thank you so much as always for your wonderful support, Maria! 🥰
Thank you!!
We have 2 poms! Love pomeranians!
I wish I lived in NY so that you could babysit my babies!
You are sooo great🥰
Aww thank you so much, Tina!! ❤️
Aww thank you so much! 💕💕
Summary:
-Dont use a leash, use a harness .
-Wipe their tear stains often and keep their face/eyes area clean
-Make sure to block off areas of the home where they are prone to getting hurt (unless you can keep close watch on them 24/7) such as the kitchen (so they dont eat foods off the floor the you dropped and might make them sick) or stairways (so they dont hurt their little legs ).
Thank you! We are going to adopt a Pomeranian and your video is so useful!
I’m so glad I found your video be our new puppy is coming home today! Cannot wait to train the puppy properly! ❤
Aww thank you I'm so happy you found the videos helpful! ❤ How's it with the new puppy?
We want a pomeranian someday, so your channel is an excellent resource (especially since we've never had a dog before)! Thank you so much :)
Thank you, Victoria! Do tell us when it's finally time for you to get your Pomeranian! 💕
Great video ❤ my rescue Pom is 3 and it's important to me to keep learning things that help me give him a healthy, happy, safe, loving life. TY ❤😊🐶
Wonderful/informative vid. It helps reinforce…and congrats! Jasy & I ❤ you guys!
We’re so thankful for your support over the years! ❤️ Sending lots of virtual pets to Jasy!
I made a lot of mistakes with my Pom 😢and he broke his knee but he recovered over 2 weeks now he walks perfectly but it was very hard on him 😃and I’m very happy his growing up to be a very cheerful and playful boy❤️
I’m so glad to hear that!! ❤️❤️
I 100% agree, thank you so much for this video.
Great vid! I am getting a pom puppy in 2 weeks and I have been watching everything I can to learn as much as I can. I would have never imagined that trachea collapse would be an issue, considering that my family has always owned medium-large dogs.
Bravo you summarized all the important points. I will keep following you from now on 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you so much! ❤️
I'm planning to get a new dog and I'm considering a pomeranian, so I'm doing research and preparation. Thanks so much for this video, it was super informative, well produced and engaging!
thanks a LOT for the useful information and to be COMPLETELY honest i did do and will really really LOVE pomeranians
This is an excellent video. So much valuable information.
Thank you! 💕
Aww Hudson is so lucky to have you as his owner!!
Thank you Jane I really appreciate that!🌸🐾
@@CeceFamily Thank you , I still do make mistakes and fix them. Lol!
Awesome video, thank you for sharing.
I bought my first pomeranian 6 months ago and we’re going to have a second one. This video is very helpful. Thank you so much.
Such a beautiful explanation, thank you. 💞
Haha no way you fell in love with Poms after your encounter with one in Hoi An? We hope you had fun with your trip in Vietnam! :)
My 13 week pom came home 2 days ago been a dog mom for years but this is 1st pomeranian thanks for the tips
Aww i hope you and your new pom are doing well!
Thank you for all your great advice ❤❤
So glad you found our video helpful! ❤️
Yep some trainers unfortunately lack the knowledge of the breed so it can be dangerous. The brown surprise had me laughing though lol! 😂
Very nice and helpful video. Keep it going! 🤍
we love our Pomeranian an y'all do give. Great advice and Wheeler City and we love both ccs and babies and y'all do a wonderful job with those dogs and we thank y'all for the price of giving us cuz you know we listen here I'll call her and it works and we thank you for the advice and we want I'll see you come back and show more videos other than babies so we love you sissy and boo we love you all too we love the CC family

🤣🤣🤣 that's sooo cute,!! 😭
I'm so sorry for your loss! They are truly the best companion one can ever ask for! Sending you hugs! ❤
Thank you
BTW I could understand you perfectly. You have a lovely voice and your advice is spot on.
I love my pom so much but I made the mistake of not letting him socialize with other dogs, out of fear that something bad would happen to him because he was so small, but he does love humans
Thank you, beautiful, for the advice!
This month is gonna be the longest wait in my life 😂
Me and my gf will have a trip to NY at the end of the month and after that she will be able to come home 🥹
Thank you telling such important facts about pomeranians😊
Our toy Pom passed at 14-years and 10- months and she looked exactly like that orange one in your video! Can I have one like it? Please…..🙏😢
They r so cute Pomeranian 😊😊
I want like this type of Pomeranian😊😊
❤️❤️
I can’t wait for mine to be delivered on Saturday ❤️
Have you got yours yet? ❤️
Thank you for that helpful information!❤️
By the way, your face looks like Scarlet Snow, the daughter of Dra. Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho. So pretty!💕
Great video. You are helping me a lot. Thank you so much.
I'm gonna buy a pom puppy soon. I'm so excited.
I'm super excited for you!
Hahaa jacuzzi bath? She’s a fortunate pom having a owner like you to pamper her with so much love and care! 💕
Mine hates the sound of a motorcycle. Even if we're inside our car she will still bark and bark and bark 😅 thanks for this video. I learned a lot❤❤
That’s awesome!!! Thank you for taking the necessary steps to make sure your puppy is safe!
Thank you so much . I am planning to buy a promernian and that's why I am doing a lot of research and you are the best. Thanks again and keep it up ❤️
Aww thank you! ❤️ When are you planning to get yours?
@@CeceFamily after my exams ❤️🥰
NEVER have your Pom groomed by anyone not trained in grooming Poms. Shaving a Pom destroys their beautiful coat and it will never look the same. Speaking from experience.
I’m in NYC! I was wondering if you have classes yet?
He's not a fan of strangers on the street outside the window and while he will tolerate the presence of people in public even large noisy crowds, he refuses to allow anyone to touch him unless my mom literally puts their hand on him and it does nothing but stress him out so she usually refuses 90% of the time he's fine with other dogs especially younger and surprisingly much larger dogs and he adores cats considering he lives with 3 but he is very picky with the people he allows around him
I love your videos on Poms!!! They help me a lot being I have 2 of them❤
Don't crate any animal if you don't really have to.
I’m a Pomeranian lover. They are the cutes. My Pomeranian name is Ms Angel. She even has her own channel 😅😂😊
I would love to have you as a trainer for my daughter's pomchi! We are struggling so much with the bitting and make her use the wiwi pad.🤦
Congratulations, wish we could take lessons from you😊
Thank you, Joy!! ❤️
THE DOG IT'S SO CUTE
Thanks for your advice
Love your video. I'd found you several months ago when I finally found my pomeranian. Her name is Sabrina. Miniature pom that'll be 4 pounds fully grown.
Ah, I wish I could show you lol

thank you so much, im picking up a puppy pom in next days, I want the best for him
Aww thank you! How's he doing?
@@CeceFamily he's doing fine! I didn't expect for him to be so smart and active, learns so quickly, it's been a joy 😊
Thanks again fir a great video many Poms and their owners will benefit and thank you for it.🙏🙏🥰
Aww thank you so much! And thank you for sharing about your little Pom and your son too - what a beautiful and heart-warming story! ❤️
Spot on!
Thanks for these tips...
I wish I could speak any type of second language. It’s not easy and you speak English exceptionally well. I’m hard of hearing and gave no problem hearing you.
Hi there!
Congratulations on getting your certification for dog training!
Thank you!! 💕
Awwww so in love with your poms !! 😍😍😍
Thank you, Nataliya! ❤️
Thank you so much for being a responsible Pom owner! ❤️❤️
What would be the best option for them?
wow. so much goes into taking of a dog
Thank you! Is Nyro neutered?
@@CeceFamily No, he isn't. We are considering it though...
I had one he passed away 3 weeks ago he was my friend I miss him
I'm so lucky my pom is a "throwback" and around 17 lb. It makes her much less fragile, but I still never use the leash on her collar. She makes coughing sounds when I even touch her neck. I definitely don't want to pull on it.
Congrats on becoming a dog trainer!
I have 3 I would love a throwback!! I''ve only seen them in pictures
@@Brownmanifesting I love the typical size of Poms too! My pup was given up at a shelter, and I was shocked that someone would surrender such a special dog.
@@Nikotastik oh my goodness well that’s wonderful to open the back door that they ended up with a furever home with you!!! 💕
😻😻 can't wait to own pomeranian
yayyy!! 💕
Could you tell me the best brushes or combs for baby poms?

Great tips! Also I think you speak English very well!
Thank you so much, Kate! ❤️
Love ur video ❤ i have learned alot from ur videos and I did do all these things like u said.
Aww thank you so much! Your Pommie looks so cool in your profile photo! ❤️ I think he/she knows how to pose - must be a natural haha!
I have always cut the tummy fur short in summer, would this be ok for a Pom?
I'm thinking of putting a coyote vest on my Pom at dog parks to put my mind somewhat at ease, lol.
i'm not the channel owner, but i highly suggest you train them to wait to be carried around stairs, channel THE SOY has 2 poms and talked about that
My first advice is to relax - everything will be fine especially when you've done all the homework beforehadn like you're doing now!
I mean worst comes to worst, you can always intervene if it becomes too much for them so don't worry too much!

what if we have a teacup pomeranian?
Our girl (Pepper) is a blk & white ,3 months old pomeranian
Ive been taking her on car rides , to stores , friends & families homes ... i want her to experience as much as possible but i do worry about different respirator illnesses going around ...
know 2 people whos dogs contacted kennel cough & one pneumonia
Would like to start obedience training & get her around other dogs but i worry with her being so tiny and only having had her 1st round of shots if it will be safe
Oh yea with this current respiratory virus that has been going around, I'd be extra cautious during this time too!
