i wish i never deleted my merc badge and headless horsmans axe when i was a stupid foken kid and needed backpack space for freaking scrap. i would have had a 2013 badge today.
I also deleted my merc badge. Someone on the trade server I played on as a kid, told me it "marked me as a new player" and they were able to convince me it was a good idea to delete it. I made a photo badge named "Misplaced Mercenary" I messed up the image on it so it's not full color, and it's a Tf2 symbol instead of any class symbol. I described it with so of the info from the merc badge, and a message to anyone else not to delete their own.
@@MDT_Hazu i played the game really actively near the end of 2013 mid 2014 then i got a bit bored haven't played it all that much in 2015 then got back on around 2016 and especially in 2017 when we got jungle inferno. My motivation to play really got worse ever since the start of 2019 when someone hacked into my account and stole every single item i had. If you think FixTf2 is not important. Remember the time where you first launched Tf2 being a newbies and just playing the game with everyone who is literally stomps you. You enjoy it and wants to play more and more. This is for the sake of TF2 players’ future generations too. Think of it as “for your child’s future to play this lovely game”
@@ginocanterino258 And people would be sad, and accept it. But Valve STILL takes profit from it, so in this case, they should still do something to take care of the game, if they GET MONEY FOR IT. They still keep it alive, just barely, which is disgusting.
@@Kejmur I mean why shouldn't they? They have to pay bills and the electricity needed to keep the servers working. Also if valve gets money it's the players fault because they're the ones using their money to buy some overpriced cosmetics that will get lost forever if the game ever shuts down.

Oh man Iam from your Minecraft video 11months ago and I can soo relate to you I wish I saw you when you weren’t such a big RUclipsr so I could play with you man I love you .
TF2 has always been playable. Casual servers are infested with bots and friendlies, yes, but this does not make the game unplayable. It's their choice what to do with the game, and they decided to keep it on life support. Anyways, this thread is for people who think they can and it's okay for them to force VALVe to do stuff for them. Right now all of you are forcing VALVe to take action, you don't just ask. You demand it like VALVe is obligated to do that. Of course you have a right to complain, but there were many countless attempts before, and they led to nothing... So it is forcing them now. VALVe decide for themselves whether they should and want update TF2 or not, it's their IP, and not anyone else's. I believe the community's wishes are irrelevant if VALVe thinks that, unless VALVe choose to think they are not, and decide to listen to them. In short, the "should" matter is decided by VALVe, not anyone else. They just provide a playground for people to play, you are not forced to play it like you are forced to "play" real life, and they are not obligated to keep this playground in a good shape. People decide for themselves the game is a part of their life so it's their own thing, not VALVe's. In the end it is certain VALVe don't want to work on TF2, it's clear as day. The best choice is to stop to save your valuable time and not be upset later on, instead of trying to brute force them to be on TF2. I also think it's bad for TF2bers to tell their audience to do anything for them because the followers would waste a lot of time, and ruin their mood if this attempt is going to be unsucceesful. Which, to our misfortunate, I'm pretty sure will be ;c Meanwhile, those TF2bers don't lose but gain plenty of profit in terms of views, subs, and money... I just really feel it is not fair for their audience, they do the hard work while not getting anything from it. Regarding megascatterbomb, they claim their Anti-Cheat that utilizes people's API Key, will stop the cheaters once and for all. And if it isn't already obvious enough, their situation seems rather very convenient to advance Hashtag/TF2ube thingies! Conspiracy theory, or it makes some sense? This should be handled by police department, not by hashtaggers and hashtagging, and not by TF2bers. Community servers aren't anywhere as bad as people make them look like they are, TF2 started off with just community servers! Community servers are better, because they are freedom, and kind of like sandbox thing, in terms of the fact server owners can shape them almost however they want, and provide fresh and unique experiences, and they have many, MANY times in the past. Casual is just a mythological convenience store. Let go of your thought that TF2 is just Casual, it does not matter as much as people believe it does. I'm against forcing anyone to do anything when it's obvious they do not want to do the things you're telling them to do. I'm not telling you to pretend everything is okay or to just ignore the problem, unfortunately the solution is to join community servers or switch over to other games, since VALVe isn't interested. Join the Reasonability Squad by spreading the word, and start saving TF2 for real by telling people to join community servers/move on to other games with more caring devs, and by advocating for people who encourage others to switch over to community servers/other games. Every reasonable individual will be against this hashtag movement that rudely bothers those who disagree + labels them with all kinds of names, I personally believe. I have a right to express my opinions and thoughts just like the movement,
Very much agreed with your last line. Expressing opinions in a manner that allows for productive discourse is a positive to be encouraged - and disagreement is not only an option, but to be expected. Also read through the entirety of your extensive comment. The point of the petition is to serve as a lightning rod via which to channel the will of the community and other sympathetic parties. It's actually very quick and easy to drop one's sign in there - aside from the confirmation email taking some time due to anti-spam measures in place of service providers' part. Yes, law enforcement are the entity probably best equipped to deal with criminality - but the criminal aspects are side-effects of the core issue. If community servers are so good then perhaps an alternative approach that Valve could take is to place some of them front and center, integrated with the 'play now' button. Yes, I'm aware that this may cause some problems but if the cheating issue is that difficult an issue to resolve - then such might be an easier path to take. Also, one thing that you do not appear to address in your comment, is that Valve are working on a new game. As such it is in their best interest to get on top of the botting problem in their existing titles, as failing to do so is heavily indicative that they won't be able to stem the tide of bot abusers when their new title drops. Sure, they can ignore the issue - but saying that it is their right to do so is kind of similar to saying it is their right to make a bad game. It 'is', but it cannot be expected that people who value an IP won't get angry about it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, even if we may not fully agree.
@@PathForger_ Thanks for responding to my comment and thanks for your opinion. It is greatly valued. I can agree with you on most of the point that your brought up. It is a good idea to integrate some of the community servers with "play now" button. And, yes. I know it is quite simple to sign the petition I just doubt how effective it will be considering how #Savetf2 failed to elicit a proper response from Valve more than just them making a tweet and made some minor bug fixes to the game.
@@juno1537 You are welcome, and likewise, your opinion is valued, as it should be. ^_^ Indeed, it is unclear whether a petition will have any impact on Valve's course of action. A similar situation did cause Blizzard Entertainment to cash in on 'vanilla', but Valve has eggs in more baskets and one could say that Valve is an egg basket itself. Some say that Valve maybe didn't get the message about bots with #SaveTF2, due to the movement being less focused, but Valve certainly knew that bots were the primary issue, and #FixTF2 doesn't really change anything about that. What it does do however is provide Valve a lot less wiggle room to appear to do things while not actually addressing the issue. Valve did release bug fixes and new features for the game, and that probably shouldn't be downplayed - but people on a sinking ship are unlikely to appreciate being handed luxury items when what they asked for was life preserves. Now if Valve does choose to remain radio silent or retaliate then at least the player base would get a degree of closure, knowing where they stand. That's not a great ending but perhaps such is preferable to being strung along with beads of hope. One can turn ones attention to what else lies out there, even if it may not be the same.
@@PathForger_ Yes, I agree with you. #Savetf2 seemed quite unfoucused and not so demanding for a change.
