揺さぶって決めに行ってるのいいなぁ真似したくてもできない
上段突きの警戒心のない組手に慣れてしまうと弊害多いしな
鍛えた拳でまともに入ってしまうと大変だが・・・。

This is why they stop the fight after one hit, because it symbolize the very probable death that could occur because of the metaphorical blade of the karate punch.

JKA matches are much more entertaining than WKF. No protective gear is the way to go.

Most interesting is the latest tendency....in my day we chuckled politely at they who wore a tattered black belt.....I wore mine for many years of Kyokushin combat and it stayed nice and black

It is just about speed. I don't see any fending or dodging in Kumite Tournament. Fending or dodging only can be found in Dojo, Hollywood movie, or maybe in street fighting
You can dodge some punch, but this is very hard to dodge a tsuki from karate (karate punch). This is fast, with no motion easy to read. A hook from a boxer, you can way more easily see it coming by the move of the shoulder. Karate punch are basically a jab with way more power behind :)
But in some video, you see some dodge in. Pretty rare but still happen. Remember they don't have glove too. You are less stress with glove because one mistake won't be as hard to take than one mistake without glove :)

Open any UFC fight. It's more karate than this. Is this a karate fight as it be at the beginning?
Karate is about effectiveness but also about self Control, shobu ippon competition is the balance between both principles. MMA is nice and Karate can be very well applied in this sport, what shows the true Power of Karate and the reason that we have to control our power in regular amateur Karate competitions.
Apart from the contest itself, do the contestants really need a piece of paper with a number on it flapping about on their backs? Surely there is a better method of doing it than this? Why not have their own name printed on the back of their jacket on a permanent basis?

きれいに入ると一撃の判定らしいです
スタンディング時の判定は曖昧なので審判のさじ加減かと
空手協会の組手は技が極めてれば一本です。突きでも蹴りでもです。極めに若干足らないのが技ありです。一本と技ありしかありません。全空連のルールは技の種類で有効、技あり、一本になります。

Maybe, with UFC rules. UFC guys would get killed fighting with these rules, too. And in a no-rules street fight, who knows?
