I listened to this song recently and I instantly had a breakdown remembering my late aunt who passed recently. She was such a mother figure to me at such a young age and she was gone too soon. And i just kept myself busy with work and didnt let myself process it properly until i heard this song. It made me realise i need to go through grief properly. Thank you

beautiful song!!! i love hearing the background and the meaning behind it in depth. I know what you mean - I'm also the youngest child and I'd always felt I grieved differently to everyone else in my family but it makes so much more sense with how you articulated it. I'm going to have to revisit the song because now i connect to it in a whole different way. also how culture can effect processing grief is so interesting!
