I have a 22" TRD Pro Tacoma, and for the fun of it I played this while driving down the freeway on the way to work yesterday. Listening to this while merging onto freeway speeds felt like I was actually driving a warthog. I usually don't listen to video game soundtracks while commuting but man I felt like Master Chief driving my truck yesterday on the way to work lol.
so little fact about the end portion, most people never get to hear the section because the warthog run is often completed too fast, cutting out the music at the end when the cut scene begins. so yes, the end portion was not new when they remade the theme in halo 3.
Yeah sometimes I purposely do the run a little slower than usual just to get that part to drop the moment Chief starts running to the Swordfighter. Music like this really brings the tension from 0 to 100
