    Glad your wife is okay. Regarding the smashed car, Ricky Bobby would be proud. Great job on the power washer and the bush valve grinding solution.

      Yeah, it was definitely a bit scary. She still has some swelling on her leg but the doctor said it will heal in time. A long time! Thanks again 🙂👍🏻🍻

    Definately gonna use that style of valve grinding on a pocket bike of mine I've been fussing with. Great video!

      This last weekend I used the power washer for a good 10 hours cleaning the house siding, roof areas, and a bunch of other stuff. Running great! I probably just jinxed it... but for now it's great! 😆
      Good luck to you. Thanks for the comment!

    I miss my HHR. It was low enough that it caused difficulty for me to get in and out with my back acting up but I loved driving it and the room it had inside.

      She was a good car for sure. I hear contractors loved the panel version as well! My biggest gripe was the top of the windshield was so low I always had to lean forward to see stop lights 😆 Thanks for the comment 👍🏻

    The exhaust valve guide has backed out. When it does, it develops a lip at the very end of the inside of the guide. The guide may gradually move back in a little bit, and hold the valve open. A good fix is to drive the valve guide back in and install an intake valve seal on the exhaust valve. The spring pressure will hold the valve guide in.

      Hello there! Thanks for the comment. Someone else tried to warn me of that too, which I didn't take action on and the guide continued to back out until it cracked the rocker. Whoops! I fixed it in this episode... well... "fixed it" :

    Holy hell that car is demolished. I got into an accident about a year ago in my 2004 grand marquis. Compilated circumstances but i ended up hitting someone almost stopped at about 60mph. The engine ended up underneath the passenger compartment.. scary stuff. Im lucky that car was a tank. I was the only one hurt.. seatbelt rash a banged up knee and some brused ribs.
    Anyway, Im glad everyone is ok.

      Sheesh, that's scary. I'm glad you're alright as well. I couldn't believe she was ok after seeing the car. And I'm super thankful nobody was in the passenger seat.
      Appreciate the comment. Stay safe out there!

    Your valve guide walked out. It need to be pushed back in and prick punch the aluminum around the guide.

      Hi there! That's interesting... with the guide slipped I could just pull the valve and guide back into place? Well, looks like a teardown may be in my future if it happens again! Thanks for the comment and info!

      @@TractorFella pull the cap and spring and tap the guide down with a punch. What will happen is that the rocker will break just after the push rod bends. When the valve guide works it way out, the rocker is limited in its travel to the pint it bottoms out on the valve guide. I appreciate the vids. Glad to know you were all good after the crash. That was a nasty one. I was a fireman for 26 years when I was much younger. Cars back then that looked like that had occupants that were unable to walk away from.

      @honeybguys5872 Awesome info. Thanks again.
      Yeah it definitely wasn't great. It was the Misses that it happened to. She is doing just fine. I can't imagine the things you went through. Thank you for what you did!
