I wish every fan could hear this song. They need to learn that idols have feelings too and this is how they feel. Remember those countless so called scandals? Gosh how can they even call them scandals when all they're doing is dating? Do they expect the idols, who also happen to be human in case you didn't know, to control how they feel towards a person? Idols shouldn't be trapped like this. They want to do everything a regular person does. Date, fall in love, marry, have a family, etc. Fans need to understand this.
I think most fans do understand this but it's the companies and so on who don't want something like that. Fans who hate on them because they are in love aren't true fans.
Juju ygivamibb Why do you think companies don't want them to date? It's cause it'll create an issue in the public. Fans who are obsessive (which happen to be a lot more than I thought) do the worst things possible like threatening their partner and they stop being fans. If they do that then they won't buy albums, merch, etc. and the company's profit drops. I dunno if you're an Exo-l but if you are remember Baekhyun and Taeyeon scandal? Many Baekhyun fans cancelled their concert tickets and stopped buying merch. You're right. Fans who hate them cause they're dating don't deserve to call themselves fans.
I don't know about vixx's company because i am not vixx fan but there are companies who don't want them to date, idk why, maybe because fans are leaving them and so on. I dont say it's with all companies, dont get me wrong. But also media play a role in it and you're right, it is because it'll create an issue in the public. That's why many companies dont want them to date.

This is what your idols feel sometimes..give them a break sometimes too..they are human beings..they are not perfect. Fans are what keep them going and sometimes fans can be a little over the top. Be careful of what you do, it may hurt the people you love and care about.
Right. Before an idol becomes an idol, he/she went through their trainee days, the time where everything is still normal and they felt like they're a human. Once they debuted, everything changes but the idol will always remain as a human. Fans need to be understanding in order to not upset the idols and even themselves.

We need to applaud Ken for coming out to the public about his past relationship, and, not to forget, his agency for producing this amazing song- without whom we wouldn't have known about their situation.
It's a sad thing, how idols are not allowed to go public with their relationships. Think about the girl, how she must've felt when Ken chose the 'idol' life instead of her. But, I guess, she now knows about Ken's side of story and will understand that he did this for them, so they could have a better future.

***** Well, he had a gf when he was a trainee and... Since Bigbang became a group through documentary, they were pretty well known. Hence, fans dug up their private infos and found out his gf. Her face was all over the internet and TOP felt guilty.
In the end, the gf asked him to chose Music or her. TOP chose Music. He was heart broken. he talked about it on a show.

Some fans and management often forget that idols are humans too. They have all the rights to fall in love. They have life outside their career.
It's almost never the management that's the reason. It's the fans. Idol dates -> fans get upset -> profit takes a downfall -> management therefore bans the idol from dating so that there won't be any losses. It's a sad world for them.

Just like what @inft_boys.scouts said, it's the fans that makes the companies banning dates for their idols because they truly know that if their idols date OR ANY celebrities date, the fans would get upset and their idols will decrease fans and decrease their profits, so in order to protect their idols and celebrities, dating has to be banned. And it is NOT just in Korea, but also other states and countries as well lol When Eli from U-Kiss was married and revealed it to the public, he lost so many numbers of fans and got into controversies for that. See? So yeah, don't blame the managements for banning dates, it's to protect their celebrities, blame the fans who thinks they can get their idols when they can't but when their idols gets a boyfriend/girlfriend, they starts to leave them. So yeah, it is not the companies' faults for setting this law/rule up lol

As an EXOL, and what happened to uri chen at this time, i really hope all EXOLs around the world, (esp kEXOL) listen to this song, understand whats this lyrics mean.. we love them, but idols not belongs to us.. they also want to be loved and happy with their love one.. so plssss exoL.. we know deep in our heart, we love our idol so muchh.. so pls, justt let them do what they want to do... their happines is our happines too..jeballl..tq.

Dang, the amount of people coming to this song from all different fandoms is pretty amazing. Since it's such an early b-side I expected it to have very few views and just from Starlights, but I guess this song speaks to a lot of people (fans,idols,etc) if it can attract so much attention from non-Starlights. I definitely wasn't expecting this lyric video to have almost 1M views. That's really rare for b-sides of non-internationally popular groups.
I hope people speak up in support of idols' relationships when they come to light. Idols are human and their feelings shouldn't be stigmatized. I hope Chen makes a glorious return and continues to receive support for years to come. :)

I sometimes forget that idols are human beings too, that they love too. This song makes me remember that...
literally just bawled my eyes out to this... i always thought it was so so SO ridiculous that idols couldn't date. and i'll never understand the mentality of some "fans" either. im sure you know you have no chance at ALL with these people and they have no idea you exist but you'd still rather see them single and lonely than happily in love? i don't see any logic in that mentality and i honestly suggest you go reevaluate your life choices if you think like that. i've never felt jealous about my biases being with other girls and i would be BEYOND HAPPY if they revealed they were in a relationship. and that's how it's supposed to be. celebrities in other countries have fangirls too but they don't have any outrageous obligation to appear single to satisfy their fantasies, and the fans don't act like it either. most other places in the world would be baffled by the idea that dating is a scandal in korea. this country really needs to stop treating love as a crime.

This song breaks my heart on so many levels especially the "Normal stuff even becomes difficult for us" it was something like that.
You know what I realized when meeting Topp Dogg (this applies to all celebrities too) their just people that are super talented. They may be your everything and you may be there everything but don't forget there people and get sick, sad, and even drink. Their not perfect and neither are you! They do a lot of stuff to make us happy, say you have a cold your in bed probably watching TV resting. They'd be doing the same thing except the love their fans so much that they push past it for a future comeback. That's why it makes me upset when people get angry when Comebacks are postponed, members leave their groups, or your idol is hanging out with some girl/guy! They work extra hard and deserve Rest, Fun, and most importantly love. G-Dragon has been feeling awful lonely and depressed and just cuz, he doesn't announce it o the world doesn't mean it ain't happening. Same goes for all the others there not literally lonely, but they just want peace, quiet, and someone to love them even if it doesn't mean you. So I guess what I'm trying to say is their just like us and people have to learn to deal with that!

All of our favorite idols may be famous, but deep down they're real people that want to have a normal life too, but they can't date people even if they want to since they fans get crazy. They should be able to live their lives how they want to. Our job as fans are to support them, not control them.

This song has a sad meaning (massage) but I couldn't help but smile (because the lyrics are so true). I thought about how all idols can't have a normal love life like other people and felt bad. I wish things change and they start having normal love life without anyone bothering them.
I'm waiting for the day when an idol (and/or group) will actually stand up to their managers and ask for more freedom rather than having them as little puppets having to do whatever they say. (Bonus if it's to do with dating and fans support them.)

This song is very real. This song speaks to all of them. I bet this is how all idols feel when they're in a relationship or were in one, because fans and the media view it as a scandal when it really isn't. All they're doing is dating and being with someone they love. They should have a right to do this like any other person who is not famous can do.It's like they're robots where they're just supposed to sing and perform in front of their fans and not have feelings. Going into the industry thinking this is what you’ve waited for all your life, your dream is finally starting, that nothing could stop you from backing out. After a few years whether you’re pretty successful or not, you still think this is what I live for, for the music, the dance, the stage, the fans, for this life, for what I dreamed of that has now become reality. Along the way you find someone you really like, maybe even love.
But this life doesn’t allow for love.
You are “taken” by your fans, the majority disapproves of your potential love life, forcing you and your love to go into hiding. Not knowing if theres ever really a safe time to be yourselves and show affection to one another. When is the next time I’ll even see you? Things become too complicated and things come to an end. You start to question if this life as an idol was worth losing them, and you will question it again and again. Until you find the love of your life. What if I’ll lose them too you ask yourself? Am I ever going to have someone by my side? Should I just spare them the heartbreak thats bound to come?

Sorry for this super long post, but it’s just what went on my mind after hearing Vixx LR Beautiful Liar and Vixx I Don’t Want To Be An Idol. I thought of the life of barely recognized idols that have yet to even debut, to famous well known ones like GDragon. While this portrays more of an unhappy ending, I wish people would be more accepting of an idols love life and private life. To me, taking the steps towards being an idol, is like taking steps towards being perfect. Not your definition of perfect, theirs. The worlds.
i only discovered this song today and legit tears are falling down. this song is beyond wonderful, this is a masterpiece. i can feel the sincerity, the longing, the regret, the love in this song. i am so amazed. very wonderful indeed.

tonight i wanted to cry for some odd reason (i just needed to let out my emotions or something) and i was looking for some sad kpop songs and i stumbled onto this. first time i heard this i let out a single tear. second time, im sitting in bed bawling trying not to let my grandma hear. i only had two songs that actually made me cry. Ayo by SHINee and this. This is making my whole face numb with feelings which cant even compare to Ayo, which just made me shed a few drops here and there. Im not a fan of VIXX but if they have more songs like this, I'm gonna lose it. I start crying harder and harder every time they start packing on their vocals. I really needed to shed some tears tonight, and this really helped.

If an Idol can find a relationship where they are both in love, the who are we to deny it. Love is love, and they shouldn't be forced to chose between being a idol or a person they love.

My friend and i were talking about the lyrics and it actually got me emotional. Idols are also humans and they should be able to do what they want without restrictions.
Honestly, the speed at which fans turn their backs on their idols is fucking scary when a dating "scandal" breaks out. I remember few months ago when there were rumors circulating around Leo dating a fan and some fans decided to leave the fandom and bash on him. That rumor obviously ended up being false but the immediate negative reaction fans have when their idols happen to date someone is just frightening.

Nah . In his trainee days he had a girlfriend , and he had to either break up with her to become an idol or not become and idol and still be with her . Music was important to him so he chose music .

If one becomes an idol, it would be hard for him or her to devote time to his or her significant other since idols barely even get time for themselves. It would be selfish to be in a relationship when you have no time to give. Also, entertainment companies do not recommend their artists to date as it could be a distraction or turned into a scandal by the media. It also pleases fans if idols are single.
This is definitely my new favourite VIXX song. I was almost crying. I was really bewitched by Ken's vocals and the message of the song. But my tears stopped at the edge of starting to flow down. Why? Because I actually would've preferred it if it was all of them together (well Ravi wouldn't fit in this though-) but really I missed especially Hyuk's vocals. I think his voice could've made the song even better, and make me really cry.

I love this song. I've never been a crazy fan girl because I always understood these celebrities are people too. All fans should realize that. These people have lives too, and they deserve happiness as well. They want to be in love, they want to have families some day, they want to be with their families, and their lives should never revolve around the stage.
Hope the entertainment companies start changing in order for the idols to have more freedom. :)
