- Okay, this one is confusing. I learned that you can do double and triple flips, but only on vert a couple weeks ago. Now, I'm learning that you can ollie extra high if you hold R2. What? How is this going to affect the run?

Here's a trick; when you pause and unpause the game intermittently, you get the following BGM samples:
California College - "T.N.T."
San Francisco Pier - "Bloodstains ~Darkness Version~"
Alcatraz - "Simple Song"
The Sewers - "Manthem"
Shipyard - "House of the Rising Drum"
Kona Skatepark - "Seneca Falls"
London - "Spokesman"
Little Big World - "Whenimondamic"
If your restart your run on the same level, unmute the BGM and the game will always set the BGM to whatever level you are currently playing. This is likely a leftover from when previous games attempted to play level ambience when the BGM volume gets emptied.

These high combos are always fun to watch when you want to try and find the perfect line and make sure you reach the threshold. After trying so hard multiple times it looks and feels satisfying when you shoot over the score. Gaps are your friends when wanting high score combos
Owner of this dreadful port here. Once you get the subway tickets you can go through the subway gates to teleport yourself across the map. Kind of pointless considering how tiny the map is!

The silly Moonwalk grind was in Underground, while THPS 4 had that equally stupid spray graffiti grind or whatever it was. Both by Muska, of course.
i feel like I beat THPS4 Ps1 and still had the same reaction seeing you talk about jump boosts here

I usually start a combo with the 900 then manual to a special grind and go from there..

Rad rat...when doing the conbos and high score you gotta go for gaps....the gaps add alot to the score
I love how you get a new thing to ollie higher, then you still immediately say “oh yeah i cant do that goal” when you now have a tool to beat those now 😆
And proceeded to never use it during your high combo run haha
