This song showed up in my Spotify discover weekly and I just couldn't believe it was a cover of a song I didn't really like. This cover is just amazing. So dark and emotional, it's literally been stuck in my head for days.

@@VulcanGray theres no such thing as an objectively good song and if there was it wouldnt have come from our simple minds. You can have songs that is perfectly in tune and hit notes at all the right times and there will be people that dislike it. And then you can have a song that is out of tune and out of time and there will be people that like it. It's all just a matter of opinion which is why I'd be taking the other side of this debate because people are allowed to have opinions. Just because the song was recieved well and broke records doesn't mean that everyone has to love it and only make nice comments about it. People enjoy hating things just as much as they enjoy enjoying things. It's yin and yang or some shit, can't have light without dark... yk?
Dance Monkey is the musical equivalent to listening to nails scratch on a chalkboard, but I was genuinely shocked how much this worked. Love Andrew and MGMT, but I genuinely didn’t think it would work this good.

Well yeah, it's pretty boring but that's what you expect from pop. Cant set the expectations too high. But in it's awful genre it sounds pretty catchy and fun
