Hey One Guy.. it does matter how small, as long as it functions.. we all dream of a large studio space but it isn’t always possible. I recently was inspired by Berthe Morisot… she painted at the kitchen table each night after the kids had been put to bed and then cleaned up so they could eat breakfast there.. I stopped whining then! 😉

A beautiful new studio. It may be smaller than before but still a wonderful space. I had to give up my gorgeous art studio and now have a closet as my studio. It is always a mess since no paper storage drawers but it is better than nothing😀Thanks for the fun tour. 😘😘

@@CaterinaGiglio I have had a terrible cancer journey and lost so much as well as my health, now I live with my sons and they don't like the mess so I have a little stitch bag which I have just started with as I cannot see very well the cancer affected my eyes too. I love all you do and your lovely way thank you for sharing yourself so generously to us all. xx I found you through a student of The Unexpected Gypsy who is also on RUclips. We have a private art group and she mentioned that she enjoyed your channel.

Thanks for the tour….I agree that too much on the walls close us in….I need to declutter my studio….your openness has inspired me. BTW… my art work was featured next to your in The Art Journaling Magazine (Oct/Nov/Dec) 2021 issue. That was the first time I was published and to be in the same magazine with you thrilled my soul. I simply love your channel. Your husband is amazing too. I am currently trying to get a RUclips up and running and I am sooooo dragging my feet. I know what I like and what I don’t when watching other artists and I am way to hard on myself….how many ‘takes’ does it take to produce one?
Hi Ann… nice to know we were in the same issue!! and thank you… what a nice compliment! My husband thanks you!! The takes vary..for each video it depends on what we are doing and if it works out! Sometimes things don’t turn out the way I thought and we start over.. sometimes it takes an afternoon (typically) sometimes several days. If I didn’t have Don taking all the video, processing it all and loading it to RUclips .. I can tell you, I wouldn’t do it! It’s so much work! I really just want to create.. not spend my time on computer and processing a video! I wish you success and hope you like it!
I agree… making a RUclips video does seem like so much work and I, too just want to create art. I do have a home studio where I teach and can seat 10 students…maybe I will just stick too sharing art there rather than on the net. I do want to thank you and Don for bringing me into your studio and your creative world. ❤️

Nice tour, and your cameraman got lots of shout-outs!! ...so I'm wondering about your name, which you pronounce in an Italian accent, and I notice you ended your video by saying "ciao". Are you originally from Italy? If so, does that influence your art? Also, I'm wondering if there's a back story behind the eye chart.
Hi ArtGroupie.. my husband is amazing.. and I am a second generation Italian American.. and yes..it does influence my art.. quite a bit! Thank you for watching! And I just like the graphics on the antique eye chart.. pretty cool!
