I’ve been looking for this song for 9 years 😭😭 It popped up in my head 3 days ago while I was brushing my teeth and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I looked everywhere, typed « whoa oh oh oh song » everywhere and here it is !! Finally 😭😭😭
I am glad that pop punk has not been a fad like other genres (grunge, nu metal, crunk) and that after his mainstream popularity ended it has become a genre of permanence (like heavy metal, punk and hip hop) that means that even if the genre is not in the mainstream we will always have this style of music all our lives, long live pop punk #DefendPopPunk
Don't feel bad. I've been listening to this band for over 10 years, and I just realized it while brushing up on some of their songs before seeing them live in a couple weeks. At least I realized it before seeing them live for the first time.
I have to say, in the 7 years since I first heard this song, it still hasn't gotten old. Please keep making music. You guys are still in my top 3 favorite bands
I think I was 14/15 the first time I heard this song, but I remember so clearly being summer time and walking to my friends house to see if she could hang out at the elementary school park playground. Didn’t use cell phones or have a car. I remember going home and playing games on the computer then going back out to play. Had a 9pm curfew then and usually went to bed around 10. I turn 24 this month, just graduated and got a job. I start in July. This song is nostalgic. Sometimes I get sad longing for those innocent memories, but I know I would never go back. Someday 40 year old me will look back at this time and think about the good old days when I graduated and got my first real “grown up job” none of that serving tables for tips. Life is crazy ❤️
I will never forget going to their concert in like '09 and swearing Jonathan was singing to me! I was 17, now I'm almost 25 and still love this band as much as I did then.
Recently just bought myself a laptop and found my burned cds a while ago and decided to listen and I have a whole cd for them. Holy shit. To be 16 again. I’m 26 turning 27 this year😭
15 yr old scene kid here! You should enjoy your life instead of focusing on the past. You have every day to create awesome memories! Growing old is mandatory but growing up isn't. Fun's for all ages!
I feel like making myself cry from nostalgia, so I'm listening to all the FETSK songs and I'm proud to say my brain has retained every lyric. 23 years old, but this is still freaking fire.
This song took me back to the first concert I ever went to, there were FTSK, The Maine and Hellogoodbye. It was almost exactly 10 years ago (will be in 2 weeks), time flies.
I remember being in middle school listening to this while getting ready when I was in my "scene" stage. Now a freshman in college omg! Time, where did it go? Lmao
Here to tell y’all we are still here and we still love you. Your music is forever in my mind, and heart. Thank you for making my teenage years the best. Currently 30 and know every song, and lyric. ❤
Well nowadays, they're almost in their 30s. The lead singer is 31. But the rest aren't far behind. I just imagined like 17 year olds singing this song for some reason haha.
I started listening to this band in the fall on my walks to/from school, since I was getting nostalgic from the end credits song of the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I've only had one birthday since, but now I'm concerned I'll end up like the 25+ year olds in this comments section who have nostalgia for this band.
found this band from a cheerleading movie😂 its crazy bc in the movie it’s a hype beat song, but now that i listen to the full song & read the lyrics it’s deep asf

(This is all based on looks)
Hemmotinal mikey It's also funny that the guy that looks like Brendon says "I've got friends in highly low places". Panic! at the Disco has a song called "I Have Friends In Holy Spaces" from the same year. :')
They were so awesome!! My best friend and I seen them at The Black Sheep in Colorado Springs and Kyle at some point was hanging upside down from the ceiling playing the drums. Shit was cool

Punk is definitely a dead genre.
Genres can’t be fads. Once it exists it exists as long as people can make it.
@@KnivingDispodia amen!
suck a dumb statement. Pop punk was the biggest fad going
"Your clever words mean nothing more to me than a line I've heard in a movie."
love it.
it took me like six years to realize that they have more than one singer
I think more than self Linkin Park were
Don't feel bad. I've been listening to this band for over 10 years, and I just realized it while brushing up on some of their songs before seeing them live in a couple weeks. At least I realized it before seeing them live for the first time.
