    how the paper not burn

      sarahx87 Paper ignites at 451F. Just don't cook it above that and it won't burn. I routinely use parchment in my oven, usually around 425F for biscuits.

      That and parchment paper I think is silicone based, it doesn’t ignite at 500F° as it’s silicone based just becomes very brittle and changes in color which is just low key burning.

      i'm late to the party, but wax paper burns in the oven, not parchment. i learned the hard way.
