The biggest thing I just learned in this video is that your shooting range has actually multiple interaction points to control it. I didn't even know you could open that gate. I was just vaulting over it like an idiot xD
MCX is such an underrated assault rifle. I've seen several videos recently of ppl being like...oh hey this isn't that bad... like uhh... CBJ absolutely shreds especially at the fire rate of the MCX. Only rifles I'd take over it would be the Spear first and foremost and then the SA-58.
Something I've been thinking about, how much do you value 1 Ergo vs 1% Recoil? I've been operating on the assumption that, generally, 1% Recoil is worth about 2.5 Ergo. For example, if I was picking a foregrip for a bang-for-your-buck build, and my choices were Grip A with 3% Recoil only, or Grip B with 9 Ergo only, and both were priced about the same, I'd go with Grip B since that gives me more performance for my Roubles. Of course other factors need to be accounted for, like is the build severely lacking in one or the other, but lets ignore that for now. Do you make considerations like this for budget- or value-oriented builds?
It's certainly an interesting question - because it depends where you are on the ergo-recoil spectrum. SVD for example is starved for ergo and is semi auto, so ergo here is typically more valuable than recoil, vs another weapon with higher ergo like the RD-704 where you can go for more of a recoil centric approach. Typically though I usually think about the same. 3:1 ergo to recoil is normally a good trade now, 2:1 borderline and 1:1 I generally won't do. But it depends on the situation :)
For me its ussaly question of range. On semi auto weapons i go more for ergo as i am using 1/6x scopes and for automatic i ussualy go for recoil. Not really sure if i would consider 50/50 build a thing people do a lot. Generally its only about handgrip (BU or se7) and stock.
Honestly for the mcx and mpx there is little reason to use the buffer tube in the first place, the all in one stocks are really good and only SLIGHTLY worse than MOE+pad and they look way better
Imagine buying a new rifle, taking it to the range for test and then heading back to the gun shop for a replacement because it melted like it was made of ABS plastic after 6 mags. The damage mechanic is pretty stupid as far as I'm concerned and is just lazy balancing. I have rifles with thousands of rounds through them with barely any cleaning looking like Andy Dufresne crawling out of the sewer at the end of shawshank redemption and they still run.
Gogabeef don’t understand that not every players are minmaxing is so funny to me. Bro literally said “idk why he’s using this fore grip at this high level.” 😂
Honestly I prefer my gun to be damaged. First of all, it is a unique experience when it jams and I don't find it frustrating because the game is easy enough for me at this point. And secondly, I really like to see how much I have use the same gun, something like a streak. I have a fully modded HK I was using on reserve boss event and it is on 70 durability, I have extracted with it like 5 times killing a lot of bosses/PMC's. But again, the game just feels too easy at this point.

NGL running guns for so many raids that they go from max to a low repairability is a flex imo
After playing SPT-AKI (on easy) you realize that the durability in Tarkov is super janky and guns degrade after running like 200 rounds through them…
could just be a raider gun they took and repaired? I have seen similar ones on Labs
@theShermanator that was my thought, pretty common to see them
@@theShermanator yes absolutely, I was referring to gigabeef's comments afterwards, where he says that he doesn't really run guns below 93 durability

Tbf, if you keep running same "meta" builds at level 46, that you ran for last 36 levels you are really on the way to insanity.
9:00 you’re building an MCX and 2k roubles is actually a consideration?
Should make a series and call it "Pimp My Gun"
Most guns would look very similar as the meta attachments are the same

should be different next wipe, nikita said that the weapons you find in containers will have random durability

I understand all the adjustments as it makes a better gun. But longer handguard + Hera foregrip is one of the best looking guns in the game IMO.

The reason of using this particular tube and lock is because this build was given as a quest reward during previous event with flash drives.

Biggest issue I see is the big mag. The rest is just salvaged parts. MCX don't need chonker mags with the ammo available for it early.
wait you guys have time to make it to max traders and afford the items you can actually use/buy to make good guns?
7:15 the fire selector is twitching when you change parts!
The gun desperately wants to be on full auto and is trying to sneak to it.
Im using maxim cqb stock, its dropping a few recoil points, but has whopping +15 ergo, besides costing 5k instead of ~50k of tubes and other stuff
And it's easily the best looking of all of them, which is why I use it.
Wait should i leave the front and back sight's on the guns even if i have a sight?
Some ironsights add +1 ergo. If you really want to minmax, then having those irons on if possible is a good idea.
I've been using the viper PDW stock "ar-15" for a while now, I'm liking it the best, plenty of ergo to get me up towards 85+
